Friendly helpful staff Fair size room Delicious breakfasts each morning Reception desk manned till very late. Daily room cleaning service and by helpful obliging staff Located midst the convenience of busy Chinatown&Little Italy Lots of perks like free local calls, free printing,free wifi&also couple of hotel computers to access in lobby& free daily newspapers. We found the hotel friendly, clean, comfortable and quiet. Just one subway to and from midtown. There was lots to eat at breakfast and we always got a table. We faced south and had a good view of the downtown skyscrapers and the Manhattan Bridge. The room was small, but adequate for our needs.

Located between Lower Eastside and Chinatown, so it's close to tons of good restaurants and shopping. The bed was excellent, room was clean, shower pressure was great. Our room (8. floor) had view over Manhattan Bridge. Heating / ac worked well. Simple basic room which was comfortable, simple (no fancy bathroom just a shower) and clean. Breakfast was nice although seating was limited. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. My wife and I will stay here again on our next trip to NYC. Neighbourhood in Chinatown - not too shiny nor touristy - but means you have tons of good asian restaurants around. Soho / West Village, Wall street, are all in walking distance. Decent facilities in hotel rooms. The hotel is modern, clean, in a good location for Chinatown, SoHo and all places in south Manhattan. The staff were helpful, the hotel looked after our luggage when we went on an overnight stay to Niagara. I liked the location in the Lower East Side. The surrounding neighborhood was somewhat dirty and smelly, but we did not feel unsafe walking on the streets at night. Breakfast choice was really limited, as was the breakfast area. Only styrofoam cups and plates. 1) Non existent view from room window - just wall of another building. 2) The roof terrace which is featured on one picture is in fact closed for the guests. Big disappointment. So if you're thinking to book a room on this hotel to enjoy the views - as we did - then better look elsewhere. Not many tables available for breakfast but this is not really the hotel's fault. Just a lack of space. Hard to see hotel from road. More signage needed to find it. The armchair in our second room was stained and greasy but everything else was fine. Breakfast was lukewarm but there was a microwave to heat it. Lack of seating in breakfast area. Depending on time going for breakfast it could be difficult to find a seat, although we only took our food to our room once during our nine day visit. Our towels were not replaced... Not sure what that was about. Breakfast area was somewhat crowded in the morning. Walking along the sidewalk we had a little trouble finding the entrance,. Room was quite small (but this is a budget hotel in New York, so can't expect much more). Area could be quite noisy, but again this was China Town!. Conditition of sidewalks lousy. On weekends the wait for subway trains on that particular line was slow and not as convenient as the train made fewer stops. Slightly overpriced. Slightly congested room, slightly pricey . room a little small but it's N.Y. Sometimes it was cold at night, poor breakfast. Breakfast area was cramped and poor layout, nowhere to sit most mornings. more fruit at breakfast, too much furniture in the rooms. The hotel doesn't arrange breakfast package if the clients leave very early. Served breakfast too late for me. Close by locations are very smelly n dirty. Also no drinking water supply provision. Not a big fan of China Town. N/A. Lack of seating for the Breakfast, and also the Breakfast was lacking in selection. Air conditioner in the room extremely noisey. No fridge in the room, this would have been nice. Location in smelly china town, undesirables out front of hotel and on street, room was fairly small for a "king room", probably a little pricey for location. Horrible stains on furniture and carpets. I wouldn't even go near the upholstered chair!. Carpet was soiled. Inadequate space for breakfast. Sterile, dated-feeling lobby, breakfast area. Directly outside the hotel was a cheap Boston-NY-NC bus stop. At times it was difficult to walk on the street due to people waiting for buses. IF I was a single-woman, I would not be comfotable walking on the street in the evening. The view from our room was of an air intake duct for the hotel. Lack of seating at breakfast time. There was no free parking. Quite expensive. A bit small but I guess that these are features of all Manhattan's hotels.
