Room was very clean & the bed was really comfortable. Huge vanity in the bathroom. Free parking that felt safe. Price was a good value compared to other hotels in the general area, especially with the amenities they had (including breakfast, wifi, an in-room safe, microwave oven, & a dormitory-sized refrigerator that actually worked properly). The wifi worked well most of the time. The neighborhood isn't nearly as bad as other reviews (& satellite photos on Google Maps) led us to be.

Another plus is the breakfast, very good with many options from waffles and muffins to fruits and yogurt, juices, coffee, just great! The staff was very friendly and helpful, good customer service! The room was very clean, confortable, and with all amenities (good air conditioner, fridge, lcd tv, a safe, etc.); this was a king room. Great Staff. Big room and clean. Far from the city center, but with the bus n.224 you can reach the Metro station (North Hollywood or Universal Studio) in 10minutes. The staff were very polite, the location is quiet and the rooms are very clean and well fitted out. Breakfast is excellent. I would definitely use this hotel again. The walls weren't very soundproof, so we could hear lots of activity in adjacent rooms & in the hallway. The breakfast room was really small (but we were easily able to bring food back to our room). Some of the bath towels were very worn & paper-thin. The heating/air- conditioning wall unit was noisy. Our in-room safe was on the floor of the closet, so you literally had to get down on your hands & knees to use it. The breakfast ends at 9am. I think it should be 10am, but anyway, if you're travelling, it's best to get up soon and enjoy the day. It seems a bit far from LA goodies, but when you have a car there it's really not a problem. Parking isn't ideal and I didn't like leaving my keys in reception for them to move the vehicle. However no damage was done - just my opinion. Not in the best area of town, but would stay there again. It wasn't in the best neighborhood and the whole parking situation was a little weird . no pool or spa tight parking small lobby needed more or larger conditioners/shampoo. Limited covered parking. the parking too small. Very small breakfast. The area (looks like be in mexico). Breakfast mostly high glycemic food but for the boiled egg. I would suggest to include whole wheat or grain bread or similar cereals like oats etc.,. Location a little way from the popular areas. Neighborhood more industrial than residential. Breakfast left something to be desired. The breakfast itself and the place in which it is served. The heating system was inefficient. The room was either hot or cold at night. The room that we stayed was stinky smelled like pee. We requested a roll away bed which was fine but I was given a reaped extra blanket. The front desks personnel were not too friendly, they talked to you while working on their computer, no eye contact. location, noisy due to poor insulation, can hear neighbors' talking thru the walls, hear people walking on floor above, hear water pipes thru the walls from adjacent rooms,loud air conditioner.
