  As a mom traveling with 2 children, we REALLY enjoyed our stay at The Baron Hotel. Dwight, the front desk wizard, was friendly, helpful, and so great with the kids. The location is in a very safe area which is easily accessible from public transit. It is an older hotel, but this added to its charm rather than detract from it. If you're in DC - I had read some negative reviews before our trip , but decided to take a chance. Very glad we did. The staff was very helpful , the room was clean and neat and with vintage charm. The staff at the restaurant/bar were so nice , gave us ice in our cooler every time we needed with no problem at all. Loved the 4 days we spent there. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Staff was really friendly and answered all questions. Breakfast was not included but the little patio and terrace looked lovely! Price was also ok.

They helped us with where to go in dc And by the end they took us to the bus station because we had a lot of luggage. Also the place is close to the train station. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay
