Al Maha, A Luxury Collection Desert Resort And Spa is located just a 45-minute drive from the busy city of Dubai. Upon arrival at the main gate there is a sand road that takes you into the desert for approximately 8 km until you reach the resort’s main building. This exclusive desert resort has free roaming wildlife, guaranteed desert views and 42 private suites to relax in. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. The luxurious Bedouin style tents combine the heritage of Arabia with luxury, and all come with private temperature controlled swimming pools, private sun decks, a large bedroom with seating arrangements, a spacious bathroom with a soaking tub, a separate rain shower, luxurious Bulgari® amenities as well as a Nespresso® coffee machine and a carafe of sherry. Al Diwaan Restaurant offers a wide array of food offerings from a partial buffet and a-la carte breakfast to a 3 course lunch and a 5 course dinner as part of the room package. The restaurant has both inside seating arrangements and a large deck looking over the wide spread golden desert. In-room dining is also available. The Hajar Terrace Bar is a seating on the terrace looking over the wide stretched desert landscape. One can enjoy a selection of pastries and fruits in the morning, while in the afternoon a high tea set up is provided. For an even more relaxed experience, guests can head to the Timeless Spa, where the highly qualified therapists can advise which massages suit one best. The property also boasts a gym, large pool, relaxation area as well as a whirlpool. It's one of the most unforgetable experience to stay in Al Maha. The resort is located in the middle of desert. Our suite is spacious and comfortable. We saw Oryx everywhere and it's awesome! The free activities such as camel riding and falconry are so exciting. We had camel riding in sand storm and watched falconry in the early morning which was really cold after a whole night's raining. Moreover, the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I was just back from Dubai and already missed this .

Please note that starting the first week of May, 2017, through September 2017, the resort will be renovating its suites. During this time there will be minimal impact on the resort’s operation. All facilities including the spa, main building, Al Diwaan restaurant, and desert activities will operate as usual. Please contact the hotel for further information. Children and infants below 10 years cannot be accommodated at the resort. The property is strictly adults only. In accordance to UAE laws, all guests are required to present a valid identification card upon check-in. Please note that Bed & Breakfast bookings do not include desert activities and they can be reserved at an additional supplement of AED 250 per person per activity. Please note that full board bookings include 2 desert activities per person per night’s stay. The on-site activities include Falconry, Nature walk, Archery, Wild-life Drive, Camel Ride and Sundowners within the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. The resort reserves the right to cancel any activities should it jeopardize guest safety. Horse riding and desert drive activities are not included in suite rates and they can be reserved at an additional supplement of AED 250 per person per activity
