There was nothing "not to like" about this hotel. The location just around the corner from the Mall of the Emirates and Hop on/Hop off stop and metro was excellent and made getting around very easy. The service by all the staff was excellent, certainly service with a smile and because we arranged with the hotel on booking that we would like a car to pick us up at after midnight from the airport this was done. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent. Very happy customers. Thank you.
all reviews » Cannot praise this hotel enough - Great location, staff couldn't have been more helpful. Mall of Emirates was just around corner - 5 minutes walk even on hot day(38 degrees Celsius), Dubai Mall was one stop away on the open top buses - If you like shopping might be better just to get a taxi - to this Mall - we were there 4 hours and only just touched the surface. Went to Gold Souk - Quite an experience - very friendly and not overly pushy. Would gladly go back and stay again. Located within walking distance of the Mall of the Emirates and Railway which meant easy onward access. Buffet breakfast was excellent with good choices of Continental/Western style. We really enjoyed our stay here and great value for money. John on reception deserves special mention for his service and attitude-excellent. free Wifi desks were great for e mails and online check-in for next Flights. The staff were excellent. Thank you to The wonderful man on the desk who arranged an early check in for our very tired family so that we could rest before going on a desert safari. My husband left his smart phone in the changing rooms for the whole day and one of the pool attendants made sure it came back safely to him. clean, modern and spacious rooms. Located walking distance from Mall of the Emirates and Metro station. Efficient customer service, we were given an extra hour late check out to assist us and checked in to our room two hours early without charge for which we were extremely grateful. This was the first time we stayed at this hotel and was not sure what to expect. The location is great and service is very good. I had to leave very early [06h00am] for golf and arranged for a breakfast hamper. I was pleasantly surprised with the hamper and it was ready on time. Towels were old and scratchy. Shower drain backed-up. Breakfast buffet menu - need more hot choices. Breakfast in cafe was disappointing as child meals were too small (eg. one fried egg on a plate) and they always took a long time to be prepared. Nothing. Inside the suite it may need two bathroom instead of one especially for 5 Prs. The rooftop pool area was somewhat small. The breakfast choices were somewhat limited but good quality for what was available. The sofa bed mattress was ok for small children but very thin and not ideal for anyone else. No complimentary wifi in the room. The hotel is at the end of town, you can easily connect via, metro, cab or even the big bus which picks you up from the mall of emirates which isn't far away. Wifi only in reception, not room. Internet in rooms was a bit slow. The toilet was small. Check out process slow. No wi-fi in the room only cable so you need a laptop. Nothing. The attitude of the front desk supervisor. I was incorrectly informed of the cost of the tour to Abu Dhaby for my 13th years old son, and this gentleman laugh and didn´t believed in me and I was obliged to inform who gave me that information and when I tried to book the tour, they didn´t accepted my reservation because I must pay cash, but nobody informed of that, on the other hand the other turists on the bus, payed directly to the tour guide. Despite this situation, all the rest was fine. The beds were very hard and the pillows too soft. Didn't get a good night's sleep. There is no wifi in the rooms (just in the lobby). All great. Sofa bed uncomfortable for an adult Was given incorrect information regarding taxi pick up that was arranged through booking .com. Towels was very old. The staff didn't reply emails I sent before my stay. I tried to call but the quality of automated response was poor and I didn't hear anything. 1. Our room was a family room with 2 bathrooms and a single toilet. The main bathroom did not have a toilet unit in it, only bathtub and shower. Personally, I that's uncomfortable. 2. No Wifi in the rooms only in the lobby. (internet in room is by paid wire in room). Would be nice to freely connect to internet to help plan the day ahead in Dubai. 3. Breakfast is nice but no hot buffet. Hot breakfast is fixed menu with, in my opinion, small portions. The toilet a bit small , it was almost the size of an airplane bathroom, you don't need two bath showers ,it would be better to turn one of them onto a bathroom with toilet seat. Rooms should have Wi-Fi. The sofa bed is not so confortable as the main bed The swiming pool is small. Evetythig was good. I stayed at this hotel twice and the booking was made through bookings.com but the hotel never received the booking. Luckily they had a room available for us. Parking in front of the hotel is paid parking. Be careful for overstaying your parking (100aed fine) The bellmen were not very helpful. We had to offload our own luggage. Small bathroom. I have no negative comments. The room design, while practical, does not live up to the notion of "suite". Its quite costly, and the toilets could be a wee bit bigger. Small separate bathroom and toilette. No free WiFi in rooms. It is somewhat over-priced. The free shuttle to Jumeirah Beach left us stranded at the beach and we had to take a taxi back to the hotel. The mattress was firmer than what we were used to. The Internet at the hotel is shockingly slow, making it almost impossible to use for business purposes. This would be the only reason for me not staying there during my next visit to Dubai, as it made it very difficult not being able to do business.
