The moment you set foot in this hotel you know you are in for a treat. The hotel was beautiful and boasts luxury and high standards. The staff were polite and helpful and made you feel so welcome. The staff never complained and were always happy to serve with a smile. The facilities such as the gym and spa were of a high standard and the pool/beach was amazing. all reviews » We arrived nearly 3 hours before check in, however, the staff were happy to accommodate us. We had lunch and receive a call from reception once our room was ready - nearly 2 hours before actual check in time. Staff were very friendly and went out their way to ensure our comfort. Room was stunning (Sea front view) - the finishes and attention to detail are excellent. We ate at the Manava restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The food was outstanding - one of the best selections I have experienced. Room - Room is beautiful, good color combinations used for bedding and curtains View from the room was very nice as well. Food - Iftar buffet had a lot of varierty Beach - Private beach was good place to relax Staff - Staff was helpful and always smiling The office manager was helpful and provided us with complimentarty transportation when we checked out. (for the suhoor glitch). On the whole I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again. It was a fabulous stay. The hotel is gorgeous. We stayed in the apartments which are great for families as you can prepare your own food. I think eating there every day could get pricey but the half board option was a great idea if you get that included in your packaged stay. When we informed them that it was our anniversary they upgraded our room to a Beach Suite - most luxurious hotel room I have ever stayed in. Reception area was crowded at the check in, but Suleiman- the receptionist moved us to another counter meters away and we checked-in in less than 5 mins. The perfict place to stay for a family , staff were so friendly , the hotel staff would do every thing to make your stay better . They even send my passport that i forgot in the safety box to the airport free of charge by the hotel car ! I would definitely go there again . Sofitel, Bahrain have better dates & ghawa. Room Access Card - System had some problem, our keys would not work and we had to go to the reception to get the keys re-programmed. Our appartment was very spacious but colors not completly in harmony. Some spaces are not very usefull. Some artificial wood is used but has a strange unpleasent smell, like in the elevators. i didi not like the valet parking managment i did not like one person / staff treatment at one of the restaurant. Location is really far but i totally enjoyed the relaxing if you are looking to go anywhere it will be better if you rent a car especially there is no taxi waiting out the hotel . The staff were really friendly but not really trained i wanted to extend my stay one more day i asked the concierge to ask about my flight but they did not answer me. Internet wasn't fast. Room service did take long from time to time and small things like dressing for the salad would be left off when delivered. There should be more Buggies (golf carts) available, as we often had to wait long periods of time for one even when calling at least 30 min in advance. The room was quite a distance from the lobby and could not always be walked in heels. The receptionists weren't that professional, they were slow and confused. Operator has NEVER responded to our request. One request has been done the other day! I (Apartment building 3) In summary, the only thing needs improvement is the resort staff. The food was satisfactory lack of selection and definitely not at a 5 star standard. We will be returning. The spa was small, the facilities consisted of a steam room and a u shaped single lane pool, as was expected food was expensive. poor room service, cleaning service, the price for the stay was high and the food buffet, in room dinning, soft drink, laundry were expensive. the beach sand was filled with shells and not ready for swimmers most of the time because the flag was yellow. Service on the beach could have been better! Was saddened that the Hotel were very firm & would not in anyway help me as I had overbooked by 1 day. Felt that they could have been more understanding & given us a voucher or a little extra for my mistake!. Service at the swimming pool area was not to the standard of a 5 star hotel. The Food Prices.
