The location was perfect for us, as we rented a car and had easy access to the cithy via E66, or to the airport via E311. The staff is professional and friendly, the houskeeping extraordinary kind and effective. The hotel is simple but has all we needed - direct access to garage, great coffee (mobile Costa C. shop), OK breakfast and pool at the rooftop. We'll definitely come again. Good WiFi connection - all in all - great value for money!.
all reviews » The hotel is about seven miles from the centre of Dubai but do not let this deter you. It is very comfortable, has a good pool and a pleasant bar which serves alcohol. Taxi's are very reasonable and plentiful and there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the main attractions of Dubai. The staff cannot do enough for you. There are tea making facilities in the room and they supply any amount of tea bags,coffee and milk. Room service is quick. One night my baby wetted the bed, and within five minutes the whole bedding was changed. It was a great thing. Coffee and tea making facilities available with a special place to store snack supplies. Toilet is some how vast regarding the size of the room, and the shower is great. Shuttle bus available to a couple destinations, but we didn't use it as we had our hired car. Staff were nice and helpful, room was generally cleaned well with just a few spots missed here and there. Beds were comfortable. The room was appointed well, pretty much what you expect from Premier around the world. Buffet breakfast was fine for the price and perfectly acceptable. This hotel is perfectly located for shopping in this area as its just a short drive to several large outlets. The hotel is simple, great value for money, and clean. It is perfect for trips where you just need a clean place to spend the night. The staff are very friendly and the room easily accomodates a family of 2 adults and 2 children. It also includes free tea making facilities (complimentary water, tea, coffee, sugar). Clean and silent hotel. Used it for one night because I was going to the airport in the early morning the next day. Out of city center - no traffic issues to the hotel and further to the airport (20-30min). The swimmingpool is nice too. You certainly have to order the roomservice, the curry they offer is very good. The staff i friendly and they speak English well. Clean, and calm, and very easy access to every wehre in the city in short time (if you have a car) (20 min to Battuta, 10 min to Midrif, 15 min to airport, 15 min. to Dubai mall), free internet, room can accept 2 children with same fair. The basement garage was overcrowded on weekends. We stayed for 6 nights. Every day when we left the room, beds where made up, and trash baskets emptied, but the bathroom was not cleaned. I think it should have been cleaned at least two times during our 6 days. The trash basket in the toilet is very small, especially if you have baby diapers. Breakfast could be a little bit more varied, for example ulternate between two menus every other day. But fair regarding price. We paid 10 usd per person for breakfast. We booked two rooms and unfortunately one of them smelled bad (it seemed like there was a problem with the ventilation). Also it would be great if they had the flash water hose which is important in this part of the world. They do have the bidea but a flash hose is much more convenient. The location is not so good, it is quite isolated. However they offer a free suttle to the big mall and the Burj al Khalifa. This clearly compensates for it. I was put in a room at the roadside which has rumble strips and taxi drivers parking outside talking into the early hours of the morning. However it was no problem for the staff to move me to an inner corridor room. If you do book for a holiday all is accessible by taxi but is quite a bit out of town. Alcohol is quite expensive but consistent with inflated prices in Dubai. Location - in the middle of nowhere. However that's why it's cheap, and they do have free buses. Hotel a little out of city but not real problem with shuttle bus. Some people say it is far away from the city center, I say go ahead, because you will be in a place where you can enjoy watching a nice profile of Dubai from different angles!! Internet connection is OK. I would like a sound dock for my Ipod in the room and the facility to watch my own dvds. Also, there should be later hours for room service. I called at 11:55 p.m. and they said I should have called by 11:45 for the last order. Restaurant was a bit overpriced and it is located a bit outside the city (20 minutes from airport and Dubai Mall by taxi). Cab drivers not knowing obvious destinations!. Nothing. It was a pleasure to stay in that hotel. Location is quite remote. If you don't have access to a car, it may pose a problem. We had a car, so it was not. The pool is a tiny joke and the Jacuzzi was not working. Nothing. Location, will be a serious thing if you don't have a car.. Taxis will take a very high price to get you to any place. I rented a car ,, but the bad thing is the hotel parking...?. Distance from centre. Could do with a bus or closer roundabout as this put the cost up . They stop serving food at 2230 and the bar prices were HIGH..... The family room is small!. Pool was a bit small. They should have better soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms. Also, they should have clean-ex/tissues in the rooms. I made my booking through letsbookhotel.com at approximately 17:15 hours, when I arrived at 20:30 hours, my booking wasn't in the system even though I had received a confirmation email from letsbookhotel.com which meant after driving for 2 and half hours, I had to wait to get into my room and relax. Awkward location to access from the main road and inadequate covered parking caused people to double park blocking others in. Suggest car park staffing to prevent this. Hardly anything to dislike really. While travelling with infants, there is every chance of the bed sheets being littered or dirtied with excretions. The house keeping did not make a notice of this and retained the same bed sheet without changing. Breakfast. Out of way location and very small swimming pool. With kids it would have been better if we had booked a hotel with a bigger pool, but due to the savings we made on the hotel rate, we did use the additional budget for the major water parks in Dubai. It was a bit of a drive to go to anywhere else. A little difficult to get to as the roads structure around the area is complicated. in 3rd flower wifi very very bad signal. Some bath items looked old and used Missing toilet brush Hard matress. Hotel Price is little bit high especially regarding its location to attractions area. The hotel is out of town although I have to give them credit for providing a shuttle bus which takes people to and from the major malls at regular intervals during the day. If you like a quiet holiday in Dubai, this is a great choice. A little to far to walk to do anything but having a free shuttle bus was good .Would have appreciated a late evening pick up from city centre or nearest metro point. Location wasn't great,had to get taxis back and forth to jumeriah golf club so the hotel wasn't ideal for me. No Restaurants near by. Was on 2nd floor. The door dampner on one of the adjacent rooms was not functioning causing the door to close with a loud thud everytime. resulted in disturbed sleep frequently. location is peaceful but bit far from city. shuttle service and nearby bus stop help though. Nothing not to like!. Somehow it is 15 -30 min away from everything. But no metro around the hotel. You have to use a taxi or get a free ride to ur destination or to the metro by the hotel bus. Which is not always available at anytime. The distance from the Dubai city centre is quite some distance. Parking Space to enough for guests and need to park outside the building. Breakfast was really boring. If you stay longer than one night you will be disappointed to have exactly the same menu every day. Parking, and access to the hotel. Dubai Silicon Oasis is far from central Dubai. The room prices vary a lot, so you might feel cheated.
