We have been there for the second time. Also the kids want to return to this very good hotel which is not that large as other hotels in Dubai. We like the very friendly atmosphere there and the location at the bottom of the palm. Both the sea-view (on the Palm incl. Atlantis-Hotel) and the City-View are magnificient. The city-view-rooms are a bit larger because they don´t have a balcony. We like the beach-access although we swim in the infinity-pool or in the long pool of the Westin-Hotel. The .

Starting from the staff at the reception, and their warm welcome, we were upgraded to a better room, after we arrived to the room, the staff called to welcome us and check that everything is ok. The pools are great and there is a lot of them. The kids pool has a big umbrella so kids can swim under the shade. The beach is open sea. There is a variety of top restaurants. There is a kids area with lots of toys. I really loved everything and I strongly recommend this hotel to ot. Everything! Really appreciated the way our driver (Romeo) has welcomed us, and the Black 7-series bmw was fantastic. I have been going to this hotel for more than 8 years and everything is still perfect. All the staff is so kind, the access between the Meridien & Westin is awesome. Beach is not so crowded and despite the heat, the guys on the beach are always there quickly to serve you. Really great memories and perfect holidays!!. The club level was excellent, lovely food and great value. The buffet breakfast was very good, and the hotel overall was very nicely decorated and helpful staff. The beach was relaxing, and children mostly stayed in the pool area. Nespresso coffee machine and free wifi in the room were an added bonus. Shared use of the restaurants and facilities at the next door Westin were great. I would definitely visit again. We loved the staff.They went out of their way to make us fell comfortable.our room was big and very clean.The resort was beautiful with a large swimming pool and very green.Right next to the resort there was this bar/pub/club which we realy enjoyed and to which we had access to from our resort. I loved this hotel. They have had a major revamp since I last stayed there and it is fab. It was like walking in to a new hotel! The beds are big and comfy and the room well laid out. The beach / facilities are lovely. We had an ocean view and it was lovely to wake up overlooking the resort. I would highly recommend this hotel. The beach and pools especially the children's pools with the canopy to keep them in the shade. The Thai restaurant at the Westin was amazing and the breakfast buffet at Mina Seyahi excellent. Most of all was the extra facilities with being in a club room - the afternoon tea and happy hour with the cocktails were outstanding. Really liked the pool and the fact you could also use the Westin pool which was much cooler water. The hotel has nice clean rooms and lovely staff from reception to pool staff and cleaners etc. Fairly good location - there were always taxis ready to take us where we needed to go. Pretty much everything was very good. We booked the Club Room and was very pleased, the staff in the Lounge were excellent could not fault them at all. We used the concierge service and they were attentive and efficient. No complaints and would defeinitely stay again. The hotel has great facilities; kids club, tennis court, fabulous restaurants. It is also located near the Marina. The personnel was great and went the extra mile for us which we really appreciated. Thanks to you our holiday was smashing and we certainly will return. Everything was great and the staff were very friendly. Had issue with AC which was fixed promptly. There is really nothing to complain about. I will definitely go back to this hotel. Good beach, pool and Barasti is a great sports bar on the beach to relax. even we checked in 09.00 am, we were able to find a room. We had free complimentary breakfast, because they needed 15 minutes to clean up the room. Location perfect. 5 minutes walk to marina walk area. You can also use westin hotel facilities and beach. What did we like about this hotel ? Everything ...perfectly clean hotel,rooms, pool, beach, the staff could not do anything more for us bar eating our meals !! We actually extended our stay by a week because of the great relaxation and hospitality. The Club Room packages was great. The beach bar was noisy if you wanted an early night, but earplugs did the trick. It was also great to go to the beach bar for a late night drink if you wanted too as it was fun and a friendly atmosphere. Just a minor detail.The bathtub was narrow and small. Bathrooms are a little bit on the small side. More lightening required in bathroom and rooms as it was very dull for putting on make up etc. The hotel put a hold on my card which wasn't put back for almost two weeks. As a young person travelling Australia I didn't just have 1200 euro to spare and had to borrow off friends, it was very unprofessional of them. compare to westin hotel breakfast, le meridien hotel breakfast is weak. I did not like the very expensive and not very good restaurants in the Meridien, the breakfast was excelentbut the rest .... The club lounge snacks were great in the afternoon but for the evening the buffet restaurant in the Westin next door is much better and great value for money. lack of fresh milk, but bearable. Pool bar stopped serving alcohol at 6pm. Be nice if one can continue to enjoy a cocktail or drink at the pool when it's not too hot, which is at sundown. leaving!!!. Nothing. The baristi bar was not fully open whilst we were there and it often got busy in the evenings, which ment there was not always and free seats. Noise at the weekend from night club on the beach which closes at 3 a.m. Noise proof shutters need to be fitted to the rooms facing the beach. The noise at times from the jet skiers Menu at pool bar - more variety/ healthy snacks please? No bedside table or light at one side of double bed in club room. 1. I hated the noise all over the night during the wekkend I stayed; I could not sleep from the high music. 2. I HATED THE UNORGANIZED TIMES FOR THE SHUTTLE BUS THAT WOULD NOT STICK TO THE TIMES ON THE SCHEDULE. 3. I DIDNT LIKE AND WAS SHOCKED THAT THE DOORMAN DID NOT TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT THE BUS LEAVING EARLY; HE LIED AND SAID THAT IT LEFT ON TIME WHICH WAS PURE UN-TRUE. Nothing observed. The only minor fault was that the water in the bathroom sink was not very warm. Nothing. It was rather expensive and you do not gain SPG points for the stay. Nothing!. Horribly expensive (as is all of Dubai). Breakfast only average. Restaurants very expensive and only average quality. Breakfast in club lounge was less than expected, the staff were late in bringing out orders. Take a room with a view of the road the weekend if you do not like loud music coming from nearby bar. didn't see toilets for swimming pool. small kids play ground . breakfast meal quality not matching the hotel class. The room we had was quite spacious however the bathroom was not very well designed in terms of space, the sink area was very small. I would imagine that kind of space more for a single room not a double. We needed to keep asking for shampoo/shower gel as they only left one tube for two people. Vanity Set was quite poor as well. Would expect something different for the type of hotel. The wi-fi was not very good. During the week there was for several evenings noisy music in the beach bar of the hotel and it lasted quite late. Lobby is not up to standards, cleanliness is bit of an issue considering the 5-star rating. Slow service at the pool bar. Took about an hour or more to order and receive food there. Lack of variety on pool menu. Would have been delighted to be able to eat a plain salad and have a drink at a decent price say within half an hour tops. The hidden charges from letsbookhotel.com I paid in advance and was due to pay extras / taxes upon departure only to find a hidden letsbookhotel.com charge that they had increased the room price for the final night and that this was very hidden in the small print and therefore was not paid inadvance. The loud music from the Club on the beach could be heard in our room even with our door closed. TV in room had no access to children's entertainment in English. Bathroom was small. The shower was located over the bath and the shower leaked onto the floor. High Tea on the Executive Club level was a lower standard than what we have had at other hotels. On last day had massive problems keeping an account open so we could still purchase food and drinks. Footpath and road works going on outside which makes it messy getting to the other side for shopping/restaurants. Noise from Batista disco next to beach can be heard into the small hours (to the extent I knew the songs being played). We had to pay 40% extra charge (totaly 2 rooms and 5 rooms) for a child of 15 years of age. Increadible, not to believe. Than they told us we had an upgrade; no way I showed them the reservations. Than they try to negotiate;50:50. Finally Le Meridien gave us no additional charge. I have never never such an experience in my life. Restaurants in Westin are better. Very pricey.
