The room was spacious with a large bathroom with toilet separated. It was an ideal business stay if you don't want to break your bank. The lounge was comfortable with a bar counter for fast breakfast. I have stayed in many other hotels in Dubai for family and leisure occassions ( The Westin, The Armani and The Palace, and The Grosvernor which is one of my favourite), all of which comes with a high price tag. If you are looking for good comfort with less money the Radisson Blu is a good choice. .
all reviews » Welcoming and helpful staff from the moment you arrive at the Radisson to the moment you leave. A very nice spacious room even though we booked the standard double room size. We had a good view of the city. Quiet and relaxing ambiance to the hotel, nice lobby area to use and the valet service was a real help so you didn’t have to think about your car. The staff even knew which hire car was ours when we couldn’t remember! We did not have breakfast but out of choice. Room service food was excelle. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I knew by the various staff who greeted me and the manner in which they did, that it was going to be a great stay. The hotel was impeccably clean, stylish and offered much more than anyone would expect. The restaurants and their menus had something for everyone and food was delicious, fresh and beautifully prepared everywhere I went. The room itself was so comfortable and clean as though I had never left home. Congratulations on your hotel. I will ea. The hotel location is perfect and within reach to main attractions in Dubai. Myself and my husband enjoy evening walks along Sheikh Zayed Road, with plenty of restaurants,coffee shops and shisha terraces.The check-in and check-out was really smooth, the staff was extremely friendly and the restaurants offer a great deal of choices. We have also mentioned that we are honeymooners and they have offered us an amazing view room and the bed arranged with rose petals!. All staff most polite and obliging.The staff of Nestor, Dominique and Sheila are great, nothing is too much for them. The Indo Thai restaurant on the 2nd floor is excellent and mixes many different dishes from that part oid the world.Suchada and Rossa are two great waitresses in that restaurant. As we were a honeymoon couple, the hotel provided us with a corner room with a panoramic view of the entire Dubai Skyline. Moreover, they decorated our room with rose petals and swans made of towels. Left us a gift voucher for their Spa as well has a box of Godiva Chocolates. The staff were very friendly and even accommodated our request to clean up the room at mid night. Our room had an excellent view. The hotel was very close to the Metro which allowed quick and inexpensive travel to the old city and shopping malls. For Canadians there is a bonus as there is a Tim Horton's coffee shop within a 2 min walk. There are other eating establishments within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the beach. Staff were extra friendly, loved their attitude and they were always more than willing to assist in anything we wish for! Will never forget the service at the concierge counter! Location is perfect; there is an ATM right next door, a super market, a pharmacy, and a great choice of cafes and fast food for a quick meal. We felt very welcome when we arrived. There was a high standard and the checkin was very professional and at the same time very positive. The view was impressive. There was a relaxing atmosphere and all the personal were the kindest in the world. We can only recommend this wonderful hotel. Actually it would be more appropriate to ask...what we didn't like it, than the answer it would it be..nothing..not to exaggerate, but really ,me and my girlfriend, we DEFINETLY agreed, that any time we will be in Dubai, if there is space, DEFINETLY will be the first choice. very close to the WTC, we stayed in a royal club room, we were taken care of like kings, the view was magnificant, but what made it really special was the kindness of the Radisson Royal people, they made our stay wonderful, special thanks to Grace, Joel, Wajdi and Rasjaa!. The receptionist gulzat was very accommodating and upgraded me to a Deluxe Room with an excellent view. The staff overall at the hotel is very nice. The low water pressure issue, my complaint from my previous stay, seemed to have been addressed by the management. - we were upgraded to a better room with stunning views from 46th floor for free - beautiful corner room with windows all over two walls - nice outside pool on 7th floor - nice bar and restaurant on 51st floor with views - perfect location right on metro station. Dubai is a wonderful, magical, mystical place. The location of the hotel was excellent as we wanted to see the sights, go shopping and go out in the evening for dinner. The staff were very very friendly, customer service at the highest level. Nice Rooms with full scape windows of the Burj ul Arab and Burj Khalifa from bedroom and shower. Close to Metro station, super market and good inexpensive eating places in close proximity. Free wifi. Cosy lobby for small business meeting. I did enjoy staying in the hotel all the time , I liked the location and the room decoration , the toilet design , beside the staff smiling every time I go out or comeback . I will consider it my 2nd home every time I go to dubai . The staff were excellent. In particular a waitress called Vivian who worked in the Icho Bar. We do not normally specifically name members of staff but her attitude and professional manner were quite excellent. The Staff were Excellent. Never seen anything like it. Staff were amazing. We arrived very early and the front desk were so accomodating with getting our room ready early. The Club Lounge is very nice and the staff were good. The room was excellent and a very central location in Dubai. The room service menu will be better to include their thai and japanese menu. The bathroom occassionally has a strange smell which I reported to the reception. Nothing I could say. I loved everything about this hotel and it's not something I say easily as I have very high expectations and this hotel met every one. A small remark: every night at around 9 pm the house keeping will knock your door to ask if you need anything. One night we did not hear it and they entered the room!. The hotel is a bit expensive, but then again, it was the peak season and all the Dubai hotel's prices were sky high. The concierge staff were friendly but in one instance gave us completely incorrect directions. The hotel works with Desert Rangers for excursions. Our experience with this company was the driver we had was not following basic safety on the roads. There are also less expensive options but the concierge did not note this. Absolutely nothing! This will always be my first choice of accommodation when visiting Dubai as long as they maintain this level of service!. The first day at the pool the music was incredible loud and absolutely not relaxing. We told it to the kind staff at the pool checkin and from the next day it was changed. That is professional and good service when it's best. Late check outs are not allowed!!!. - a bit cold staff at reception, but that can be expected in such a big hotel. The only small criticism would be the pool. It was smaller than anticipated and as it was on the 7th floor, it captured the winds. Water pressure in bathrooms not upto standard. Two requests made at time of booking were not noted. nothing. There was nothing we didn't like. It was that good!. The sofa in the room was so dirty that we did not dare to sit on it. Anything else very clean but the sofa is simply horrible. When we arrived, (at 2 A.M. after the flight!) the room was not ready and we had to chose between taking two rooms instead of the suite or waiting for 40 minutes to have it cleaned. So we had to wait until 3 A.M. to get into the suite, with very tired young kids. The pool is small and crowded Celsius restaurant which serves the daily breakfast was below average for a five star hotel, the restaurant is small and, awkwardly arranged as the live kitchen is fitted in the entrance of the restaurant and the food smells hits you as you enter the place, the china also can be replaced. None that i remember. The bar above the Japanese restaurant is seriously lacking in atmosphere. Can improve the Gym equipment. Latest equipment needed for weights. Furniture a little dirty because its white color. Nothing. - The dropping of a letter under my door reminding that we exceeded the deposited amount for our stay. It could a hotel policy but personally I did not like it. - Knowing that I already confirmed with the hotel extending my stay a day before, the front desk failed to find it and it took them 20 minutes to do it again in the system. I do not think such errors are tolerated by most clients. Nothing. its a bit over-priced. That u couldn't enter to the nightclub as a guest in the hotel. The room design was not great, the cabinet is located far away from the restroom, usually it is right in front of the restroom. though it is good room with good space and comfortable. limited coffee shops, restaurants etc. in immediate area. nothing. Some trust issues with hotel security but that's to be expected. I don't recommend this hotel to families with kids, all the time there is people in the lobby with strange look with extremely non respectively clothes that want to go to the hotel' disco or bar. The house keeping don't knock at the door before comming in your room. When I had my car brought to the door the staff forgot my luggage. I got some mile down the road and had to go back again and collect it. There was no offer to bring it to me.
