On arrival we were welcomed very warm by parking and reception staff, the young male receptionist speaking Polish informed us about every detail of our stay and replied exactly to our questions, they even opened restaurant for us despite it was very late. The other staff incl. receptionists were also very nice and helpful (no problem to book a table in Lviv's restaurants, call for taxi etc.). I travel really much around the world and spent half of my life in hotels, but I very rarely see such an authentic, natural and nice staff. Actually all was great. A lovely hotel. There is no big difference between standart room and semi-suite, both types are cosy and clean. Breakfast is by menu, but big and tasty. Very friendly and nice staff. For breakfast I'd suggest one hot meal on request (freshly prepared) + full buffet with fruits, vegetables, tosts, meats, cheese, drinks, youghurts etc. There are not many costumers in restaurant except hotel guests, I wonder why: weak PR, above average as for Lviv prices (but not very high!) or...?. I liked everything :-). Breakfast was poor. I can't think of anything! What a wonderful experience..!. Nothing to dislike about Chopin. Still little expensive. Too few members of staff speak other than Ukrainian. I would have preferred a buffet breakfast. There is a good choice of cooked meals for breakfast but the buffet could be better. Breakfast staff didn't want to bring us espresso when the coffee machine wasn't working. Instead they tried to mix old coffee grounds in hot water and serve us that (the waiter did this right in front if us!). After 45 minutes they finally brought some from behind the bar. Breakfast was relatively modest and waiter didn't really understand our command. Could do with a fly/ mosquito screen on at least one of the bedroom windows. - weak wifi signal in room -limited choice for breakfast. Not any fruit, yogurt The four stars hotel should have buffet menu. breakfast!. Nothing. The breakfasts weren't very differentiated and rather scarce. Nothing. breacfast. Please maximum 3 stars for this hotel. Very simple furniture and low quality concerning the bed. The light is very said. Breakfast is very simple. Need half price for this category !.
