I was quite worried when I read the other reviews for this hotel on letsbookhotel.com. But actually everything was just perfect! The location is good, close to the center and to the Palace of Sports (I visited a competition there and that's why I chose this hotel). It's right between hotel Rus and hotel President, but the place is quite. The standard room was not very big but very very comfortable - nice and beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, air conditioner and everything else you need. St.
all reviews » The hotel was located quite well. Up on a hill over the Olympic stadium with only a 10 minute walk to the main street. Breakfast wasn't huge but it was decent with several options eggs, sausages, pancakes, etc. Wifi was good enough to video chat with so that was nice. I liked that there were water coolers on each floor so I could easily have drinking water. Confortable and Space in room. Not far from the center ( 10 min walking) and close to stadium . Loved the attention. Very attentionate staff. Payed attention to the requests. Loved the decor. The staff is very young and without experience which makes unprofessional for the value and hotel we've paid. Although the hotel seems new there are things that should improve as the shower very short, the breakfast that could improve among others... Breakfast was very poor and only served for 2 hours, you had to go through a conference hall where people were having a meeting to get to it.The staff didn't speak much English, the room was only cleaned once in 3 days and someone went into the room to check if I didn't steal/break anything before letting me check out even though they had my credit card number. No service at all... Minibars are empty, rooms are cleaned when they think about it, overall a nice decoration (purely russian/ukrainian "bling style"), no in-room breakfast even if we were told it's possible, breakfast buffet almost always empty (and do you know a Hotel which do not serve any hot chocolate ??? This one does :) ) I definitely would not recommend this hotel for a city break. room renovations currently going on. Staff, staff and staff They don't have uniform and they are sometimes rude and nervous and make you feel like you have come to your relatives who dont wait for you and hate you. I understand everything, but this is their work. Breakfast limited in imagination, same everyday. Junior suite rather small more like double room. no meals served in the evening no english speaking channels on the t.v. My trip didn't start off very well, when I arrived in Ukraine I was detained by immigration for 45 minutes? I was told my passport was a fake? I have traveled all around the world and I have never had a problem with my passport. They allowed me to enter but I am not sure I will come here again. Also from my personal experience I didn't find the people of Kiev very friendly. the room was very small, the view was bad l was seeing just the walls of the next building trough my window and bathroom was broken , they had not even finished painting.it sound posh to you but almost all u can see are fake materials.breakfast was very poor.almost we had nothing to eat at breakfast. awful breakfast. Breakfast was poor No room service Staff Expensive.
