I like this location very much, is close distance for everything. Very beautiful area. Nice and friendly staff, houskeeping very polite, breakfast and restaurant is excellent. Bar at the lobby is very good and people work in the lobby very helpful. You are in best location but still very quiet and you not listen anything from outside in the evening. Me and my wife enjoy our staying at this hotel very much and we will tell people about this hotel and we will stay there again when we go to K.
all reviews » Hotel was in the center of the city. Great ambiance and within walking distance or short hotel ride wherever you needed to go recreation wise. Love the receptionist and they few I talked too spoke english. My being american a lot of the staff shyed away from talking to me because of the language barrier. Love the city, it is an exciting place with spectacular views and plenty of things to do. Really nice hotel, which is newly refurbished. Central location which is close to lots of the major attractions. We got a free upgrade on arriving at the hotel which was a really nice touch. The new rooms have speaker systems which you can plug your ipod. We stayed four nights for pleasure days. We have found the staff reception was outstanding and thier location was accessible to all what we want e.g. Bus tour, restuarants, coffee shops, city center, mousems, sky trips, etc. The Location & the Friendly Staff. The two barmen & lovely Bar lady were fantastic. Door Men were very courtious and smiled ensuring personal safety within the hotel lobby. Room was modern and comfortable. The location is excellent. The breakfast buffet is as good as I have had. The staff is competent, but very serious. I had a small problem and spoke with a young manager and it was solved to my satisfaction. Close to many attractions in Kiev. The staff at the check-in counter all spoke english very well and were very friendly. The amenities in the room were very nice, especially the central lighting system. the staff were very friendly in as much as english is not their first language, there was always someone that spoke english to help. they were excellent, we had fun and hoping to go back in july 13. I like the hotel. It was close to the shopping malls and was easy to reach by the metro. I would recommend this hotel. The airport shuttle was very cheap compared with a taxi. A very convenient hotel, a good selection of breakfast in the morning, reception polite and understood your needs spoke good english. Modern rooms with comfort in mind. I was on cloud nine the whole time and it was only because it was so, not what I expected. Will go again. Bathroom doesn't have a bath - however the shower is fantastic. Spa was below our expectations. They should make it better for any tourist. Also, there was no water pot to make tea or coffee. Inside the bathroom is too hot as there is no ventalation. The rooms are a little small. The rooms are a bit small. To be two in a room with a queen bed would be crowded. And the AC didn't seem to work. I don't know if the sensors detected that it was 8 degrees celcius outside and wouldn't give off cold air, but anyways, didn't work for me. nothing. Make sure you check the mini bar to make sure everything is there, went to charge us for two whiskys (Dont Drink ?). Absolutely nothing, very good hotel. to breakfast you must go through the casino, which is part of the hotel. It may not be suitable for children. Room was not 100% clean. Nothing to add. No parking next to the hotel, room design is too dark IMHO. Room was noisy - generator running 24/7 and staff entry door kept banging ==>reduced sleep. Seemed expensive for only bed & breakfast and we found after arrival that spa facilities were extra! Breakfast through gaming area??. I stayed there 9 nights, the first 2 nights there were loud music from somewhere till 2:00AM, after I reported to front desk, they moved me to a very quite room the rest of my stay. staff efficient but not so friendly. Lobby a bit dated but nice. Good value for higher-end hotel. Staff is okay, but they look unhappy (underpaid). Price could be a bit lower since we have not be offered breakfast, but still fair enouph for the overall quality. Shame there's no gym and sauna/pool is only free from 8am till 1am. I didn't like breakfast that serve inside the poker club.. and not reach enough. The restaurants in the hotel do not allow you to charge other room - that taxes Am Ex. The restaurants don't take Am Ex (American Express). The front desk was not as helpful as one would like. reception stuff are very slowly and cleaning stuff are so noisy. Rooms without name "prestige" are old and non-fashionable. Choose "prestige" ones. nothing. - the odd really unfriendly reception staff - dark carpet and curtains on the non-street side of the corridor. Depressingly dark! Try to get a light colored one on the street side!. - the poor breakfasts - the disco bellow that can be heard in the rooms from fri till sun. I would like to see better choice of international breakfast options such as eggs menu and more cheeses. A little bit noisy, you may hear the people walking along the corridor . • paid parking (expensive) • smoke in the corridors (in a hotel that's advertised as non-smoking) • old lifts. breakfast over priced but we only had it once there are a few nice coffee shops nearby breakfast served in gloomy room next to poker tables!!. Wi-Fi was a bit laggy. check in counter ladie was not friendly at all and did not tell me about thier free parking untill one of the staff saw me getting a parking ticket and came to help me and directed me to thier parking. The electric light of the corridor was a sensor tipe. Restaurant not as good as prices and to get to it you have to go through casino(Poker). Upgraded but room still kind of small but luxurious. The space of bar in the hall is small. Small rooms, mostly. i was disappointed with dinner had to wait a long time between courses some of the dishes was average.
