The location was 5 min walk to Universitet metro station and across a few restaurants which were good. The room was very clean and had the atmosphere of a good family-run hotel. Although the staff did not speak perfect English, they were able to assist us in making cab bookings and ensuring we got a fair price. In addition, the recep boy was very kind to help bring our luggage down at 345am in the cold winter morning when we had to go to the airport. This is something most hotels across Europe .
all reviews » - good size, nice none-modern furniture. - recently refurbished - nice bathroom - good wifi - Helpful staff - excellent breakfast at restaurant 'tomatoes' next door. I strongly recommend if you have time in the morning (starts at 9 o'clock and there is quite a wait after the order) - exactly on time, as ordered, ok-ish breakfast served in the room for those in a rush or before 9:00 All the past negative comments seem outdated, other then the external breakfast waiting time. The rooms were small but nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. They had a refrigerator full of cold drinks to purchase in lobby and always bottles of water with and without gas in the room, breakfast was served in your room from 7 to 9 am or at the restaurant next door from 9 to 11. It was not gourmet but filling and nicely done. It was a good value, not over priced. We liked everything. The Hotel is conveniently located: the Universitet metro station is about 5 min on foot, the central railway station is about 15 min on foot. There are good cafes and latin dances club near the Hotel. We liked breakfast, it was very deliсious.(by the way there were all 4 types of breakfast). Clean room, comfy bed, spacios and good-quality bathroom. We arrived late due to terrible traffic jam on Sunday night when all the people get back home from the seaside, and the receptionist was very kind to show me the nearest parking next to the hotel. The hotel is the second flooor of an apartment building. It is very stylishly decorated and within walking distance of the theater district. Staff is very helpful. The rooms are very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. exceptional room appointments. relatively good location if taxis are used . vicinity of 2 good restaurants( easy walking) A very unusual place. The room was beautifully appointed, and roomy. If you speak Russian, you'll love the in-wall large screen tv with a couple of hundred channels!. The size of the room was a little small for the price of the hotel. Having said that, the staff are friendly and did their best to assist us so overall, a very good compromise. - tiny thing: I asked distinctly for a 8 o'clock taxi and reception write 9 o'clock. It took some convincing, that 'eight' means '8', not '9'. But since I noticed, no problem. If I hadn't, that might have been one. - the bed would be a bit small for a couple and is rather hard (personal preference of course). There really wasn't anything to complain about!. nothing. Nothing really, we liked it very much. not really a hotel more a few apartments with small reception area. almost no English spoken by staff. amateur staff needs hotel trade training. It was a temporary Internet problem. Unexpected snow storm shut down the city during my stay. But this had nothing to do with the hotel or staff. -no lift in the building. Not all the staff were able to answer typical traveler questions and in a hotel where there's only one staff at a time, this is inconvenient. Like a lot of hotels, the beds have only a bottom sheet and a duvet. In mid-summer a light sheet would be appreciated. No minibar. No breakfast available. Staff service variable some friendly and helpful others disinterested and a bit rude. Do some staff training if you are putting them on reception they are the first impression that your hotel gives. the hotel is on the second floor in a regular house. They don't offer breakfast at the moment. It is possible to find restourant close to the hotel but they are not opened before 8 or even 9 am.
