At first glance you would be forgiven for thinking the hotel has nothing of worth surrounding it. But it actually has a giant shopping complex next door, plenty of good restaurants, the metro station is very close and there is quite a large park a little further away. The breakfast was also decent and the room had kettle facilities. Staff was also pleasant, helpful and all spoke English. Hotel is excellent in everyway and the facilities include some very fine detail, which makes the accommodation extremely good. I travel extensively and the Cosmopolite must be one of the better hotels that I have stayed in over the last 25 years. Well Done !!.

Completely different quality then other hotels that I used to stay being in Kiev (I am there quite often). Very good breakfast. Really recommend that hotel. The design of the hotel is perfect! We also enjoyed the level of services provided in the hotel. Also the big shopping center is located in 15m from the hotel. The breakfast is rather cheap and really good with fresh juices. Sealed air conditioned rooms, so the room got quite stuffy, although you can ask a member of staff to open the window for you. There is no where in the local area that we found that you could relax and enjoy the sun, so needed to get the metro somewhere else. Having to wait for waiter service for a coffee top up during breakfast, coffee was excellent though !!!!. Personally I prefer to stay on the left side of the river, so the localization is not the best for me. But this is just my personal opinion. Metro quite close. Not good service in the French style restaurant. Even it was almost empty we were waiting quite long. But the German one is really nice, good food and bear. During the first night there was a very loud alarm outside almost all the night every 15 minutes, so we couldn't sleep. The location is a bit far from the city-center - we've spent lots of money for the taxi and lots of time for the metro. But the hotel itself worth it. :). Location of the hotel is not in historical centre of Kiev. 15-20 minutes on taxi to the Kiev centre. They don't offer alcohol drinks in mini bar. However it's not a big deal but I'd rather had some beer there. Location. everything was ok. The breakfast could ve been more various. Breakfast should be included. A little bit to much black color. No provision for lunch, and dinner. The hotel should have an added restaurant to provide for it should the guess wants it. Room services provides further comforts and should be provided. There was only one disadvantage for me and my friends - location. It was hard to find hotel without a map at the first time. There was no any billboards or indicators where people could find information about the hotel and its location. Staff language. No swimming pool. 2 little things - they don't accept American Express and poor location - not too far but a little bit dirty streets around. who wants to feel real Soviet life style, wellcome. Hotel lobby bar and sitting area. 1) no good wifi on 7th floor and they dont had ethernal cable 2) no money exchange in hotel. Changing of the bed linen after three days, it's too long. After registration of couple, each security man asks: "This girl registered?" :(. No spa facility. The room was very noisy, a lot of Traffic and celebrating people. Slept for Max 3 hours. Restaurant was far overpriced. Will not go back to this hotel !!. I did not like that changed sheets its 3 days !!. Air condition in the room.
