My second time at Bontiak Hotel. All was like I remembered from the first experience (very nice!). They were so kind to give me the same room I was on the first time (I wish that). I like the coffee machine in the room, the TV and the bed is great. The personal is very friendly and also the driver of the transfer to airport. I recommend to aks for that service from the hotel on reservation time. Is better that have to get a taxi. Maybe someday I will return to Kiev and for sure I will choose B.
all reviews » I travel from Argentina. The staff is super friendly. The hotel is very nice. The location is good. Just a short walk to the central square. My room was clean. The air aconditioning was great. Like the TV channels also. The breakfast was good and served in room. I like the option they give you for transfer from/to airport. The driver was very nice and friendly, he was waiting at airport with my name. I hope to can travel again to Kiev (soon). I will book again this hotel for sure. Thanks to Bon. I loved the location and the energy the Hotel has. Perfect for exploring the city. I felt homely and enjoyed that the breakfast is only room service. There is no restaurant in the hotel. I did like the staff, very warm and friendly. I enjoyed to be treated as a human and not just as another number that fills a bed... it makes the Bontiak a great place to stay in Kiev. Just came back from a 1 week citytrip in Kiev,very nice and clean hotel,nice rooms,friendly and helpfull staff,good location aswell maybe a bit difficult to find for taxidrivers its in a oneway street but its a quiet location so good for sleeping at night,for me as a single traveller it was perfect,would recommend if u're staying in Kiev for a few days. Once you have found it ( it's not hard to find with the good instructions given to you! ), it is convenient to downtown, and gives a luxury feel to a strict budget. I missed milk for the coffee. Had to ask for it and it took some time, since there is no room service, besides breakfast. The hotel is located in a huge complex and it's really hard to find. The entrance is in a yard, only two rather small signs point to the entrance. Print a map of the area and expect drivers to have problems finding it. The breakfast is included and can be upgraded with juices and fresh coffee at a reasonable price. But it would be nice to have an option for fruits, milk or cereal. Nothing was bad. The hotel is incredibly difficult to find by anyone who doesn't know the city and does not arrive by car. Heating was not on, but the air conditioner was working, so that was ok. The mini-bar's bottled water was too expensive (5 euros per bottle), especially considering that drinking tap water is not an option. Despite this, I would highly recommend the hotel. The room was a little cold the first day. For the winter time its advisable to switch on the wallheaters instead of using the summer airconditioner as a winterheater. The amount of breakfast served in the room has to be increased. probably the train station and airport being far away.. Nothing i didnt like. The hotel does not have a lift, which was a drawback for me. Although they did bring the breakfast into my room, the choice of the food was very limited and they not always managed to stick to the time you asked the food to be brought in. The bed although huge, which was a good point, was a bit squeecky. The hotel looks and feels a bit boring. Naked walls, a bit old fashion (despite being new) and no facilities like a bar or restaurant. Cold atmosphere. No major complaints. There was not sufficient space in the bathroom to store toiletries. There was ample room for a shelf or table to have been installed that would have provided the equivalent of more counter space. It's not really a drawback, just a special condition. There's no restaurant, you choose at night one of the 5 different variants of breakfast and they bring it to you at a choosen time. Coffee is additional money, but very good one. On the other hand, it's very convenient, when you don't need to dress up for breakfast. За пределами номера довольно неуютно, у части номеров на первом этаже окна выходят прямо на стоянку автомашин, где на расстоянии пары метров от твоего окна ходят, курят и разговаривают люди. Хочется посоветовать при наличии свободных номеров не заселять на первый этаж. Hotwater was not enough for 2 person There are not tower hangers in bathroom Hotel prices are now high. just a couple of minor details that could be improved: no toilet paper holder in the bathroom, and no remote control for the air conditioner. The location is very central but not yet well-known as the hotel is knew. Chocolates taken from my room by the cleaners!. There was no bar or restaurant and it makes the hotel feel like apartments more than an actual hotel. It's missing atmosphere and feels quite clinical. Nothing. 1. A bit hard to locate the hotel, no singes in the area and the building is huge while the hotel entrance is somewhat hidden only on one side. Hard to find the hotel. The room we stayed in had a rather strong smell of tobacco smoke. No breaktast restaurang in the hotel and breakfast was served in the room. You have to book your breakfast the day before. Rather dark (few lights) on the way home in night time. Towel was smelly from smoke... reception works nice but a bit strange way. Very Very difficult to find. It took more than 1 hour to find the hotel. Prepare your trip and prepare a map. no restaurant at the hotel. The hotel was hard to find. Lack of restaurant/bar/pub in hotel.
