    The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly in the restaurant, where we enjoyed a quality breakfast and later an excellent evening meal when we watched the sun set over the Menai Straits. Unlike in many chain hotels, the original leaded windows could be opened wide, allowing a refreshing breeze on a warm night. - Clean, comfortable, well equiped room. Helpful staff, which included contacting us post visit about a possible lost property item that turned out not to be ours. Good room service option if too tired for the dining room after a long days walking. A good breakfast, with freshly prepared options, and a view of the Menai Strait from the windows.

    Location is excellent next to the Menai Straits. Ask for a room overlooking the pier. My annex room in the roof (24) overlooking the pier was quiet and the bed was fine but would have been a bit small for a couple. Breakfast was excellent and efficiently served. When we arrived the room was not yet ready (I’m pretty sure we were early) but the staff immediately got on the phone to get the room ready and directed us to a guest lounge and brought a tray of coffee.     This is an hidden gem. The staff were all very helpful and went out of their way to please us. Nothing was to much trouble. We will only stay there from now on at Trearddur bay. We have done all the other hotels and some B&Bs Which look nice from the outside. But they are lacking in the personal touch. Lovely beds and very good and clean service to the rooms daily. Great bar and restaurant if you don't want to stray too far. The menu was lovely with some great choices for everyone. Better than expected on price too for such a lovely place. W had breakfast on the last day and the choice is vast and again price was excellent. Can't wait to come back again.     We got an amazing price from the website and were a bit nervous that the welcome would be a bit strained but this was not the case. The woman on reception was very friendly and approachable - though she hadn't been there long she was able to answer all our questions. Room 14 was a decent size and very warm. The room was quiet and comfortable with free wi-fi though this I think depends where your room is. They say it's only available in the public areas and make no claims for bedrooms! Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items. We also enjoyed two evening meals there with good home style dishes. The hotel is pleasantly situated in the centre of Criccieth and is a few minutes walk from the sea and the castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

    We stayed here for a couple, of days but would have been happy to stay longer, Veronica was an excellent host, very caring and thoughtful.     My partner and I have stayed at the Cae Mor twice. We like it so much that we are spending Valentines weekend there. The rooms that we have stayed in have been superb!! The decor is opulent yet understated and rooms are incredibly spaceous. The Management and the staff of the Cae Mor couldn't be any more friendly and helpful.     We received a friendly welcome. It was easy to park the car off the road. Our room was spacious well appointed and very clean. there was a lovely tea tray that included some sweets. The shower room was very large and able to be used as a dressing room. Again this was very clean with face cloths and toiletries provided.     My wife Kath and I stayed for 2 nights last weekend Jackie and daughter Jenny welcomed us late afternoon with a pot tea in the garden. We watched Red Kites soaring in the spring afternoon thermals. We enjoyed a superb 3 course meal on the 1st night. To say the food was excellent is an understatement. Toiletries on a par with - Owners are very nice people . Went out of their way to be helpful and engage the guests. The breakfasts were very nice, delicious. The road going past the house is very rural and quite. A great place to walk. You could walk for miles and the countryside is gorgeous-fabulous. Wales is a magnificent, quite, out of the way place to visit. The people are very gentle-a nice change of pace in this day and age.
