    An hotel not only used as holiday accommodation but also by locals for morning coffee, lunches etc. All staff were very welcoming and friendly especially the young girls who served breakfast and evening meals, nothing was two much trouble for any of the staff. Meals were good, well cooked and presented and of good choice with reasonable prices. We... what people say » have enjoyed meals at the City for a number of years but this was our first stay. Will use them again if the need arises. - The location is perfect to explore Dunfermline. The hotel is also close to the bus station. It was easy two walk with to heavy suitcases to the bus station and get a connection to the airport in Edinburgh. Most of the staff is nice and I had a cute room with a coombed ceiling over the bed and a refurbished bathroom. The breakfast was very good too.

    We enjoyed every aspect of the stay. Service was excellent.Room wasexactly as described. Enjoyed the spa facilities.Golf steward helpful inensuring husband was able to go in ballot for old course. - the staff all made sure we were well looked after and looked out for us when returning a little late from golf.     It was a perfect place for a stopover between St. Andrews and Edinburgh, or a less expensive alternative to St. Andrews' hotels. The staff and accommodations were very good. We were fortunate to have a parking - For the cost of the accommodation, this hotel is a bargain. We thought it was as nice a place as a 5 star. The staff was great, especially Josh. The food in the restaurant, we ate all 3 meals there and were satisfied with all. We can't say enough positive. In addition, the location was perfect to walk on the costal trail and travel to St. Andrews. There is no available parking, but we had no problem finding something on the street.

    Hotel was easy to find, parking was not a problem although we arrived after the parking restrictions. Five minutes walk to the golf course. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was good, and the hotel also has a restaurant/bar which has quite good ratings in the town (I was told booking is recommended for a table as it gets quite busy).     Happy with service and rooms. We were late for breakfast but the hotel still provided us with an excellent service. Convenient location and parking. Modified original booking without any problems too. - Peace, quiet and comfort of the rooms and the general public area. Breakfast choice of fruits. Crisp brown toast for breakfast.

    The room had a perfect view overlooking the golf course, water and town in the distance - the bed was a delight! It was also extremely clean. The staff on reception and around the bars/dining area were lovely, very polite and happy to help. The same could not be said for the torn face girl serving in the spa. Club house is certainly worth - I found this hotel to be set in a lovely location about a 5 minute drive outside of St Andrews,the two golf courses are immaculate, the facilities are excellent,the room was comfortable and nicely designed but the biggest compliment I can pay to the hotel, are there staff, who make you feel welcome and relaxed from the moment you walk through the door, nothing appeared an issue for them to deal with, this was our first time staying here but after our experience we will definitely be coming back

    The hotel was very clean and tidy and the room I booked had excellent views across the bay. The staff where extremely helpful at tall times and the food was also excellent. I wiould return again. - The hotel staff were very attentive but not intrusive; the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the food was fresh and cooked to order.
