Convemient. Very clean. Nice rooms and bathrooms - practical and well kitted out. Easy parking. All the staff were so very pleasant and helpful. We were attending an event locally and have advised our friends that you provide excellent facilities should they have more visitors needing accomodation. Friendly staff, exceptional value and comfort, simple and tastefully decorated rooms with high standard of finishing touches. Very handy to have fridge in room, great location for the town and wedding venue at Clearwell Castle. Loved our stay here. Wish we had another reason to come back.
all reviews » The staff really made an effort to make us feel at home and cater for our needs - the room was very clean, beds were comfortable, and despite the heat outside termperature in the room was cool - and I don't recall seeing an airco. All in all, as a motel, very commendable. The staff were very helpful, parking was directly in front of our room, there were no stairs to try to negotiate (I'm disabled) - all-in-all a lovely 3 night stay. Would definitely use again if we are in the area. Oh, and the flowers were a really nice touch!. Where do we start? from arriving until leaving everything was perfect....good room...good breakfast....and don't forget the friendly service from the couple who are running the hotel....5 star all over...will go back that's for sure...thanks again. Whats not to like: the motel was absolutely superb, lovely big comfy bed, decorated to a very high standard, great location for the wedding we were attending and reasonable priced, the staff wre very friendly and attentive, absolutely perfect!!. We only stayed for 1 night, but it was a very comfortable stay and although we only talked to them briefly the staff were both very pleasant and always had a smile on their face. The room was a luxury room and was very comfortable indeed. Breakfast was purchased separately for £5 each and was delivered to the room at a predetermined time. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Having stayed frequently in other hotels due to business the stay at Deangate was rated better than any other we have had. friendly staff with clean environment in rooms that were of a very high standard. You could park right outside the Motel. Motel was very clean, big shower, nice tv. Breakfast delivered to the room. Staff helpful and friendly. Also, quiet at night, easy to sleep. Friendly, cleanliness, pretty well maintained gardens and pots and excellent value continental breakfast. I don't think their photos do the place justice!. The radiator was lukewarm and wouldn't adjust. The temperature outside was zero degrees on the 2 nights we were there. The 'continental' breakfast was Cereal, toast, yoghurt, jam, butter, banana coffee or tea. This was good value , but no protein, just mainly carbohydrate. Nothing, very happy withthe Motel. Full ashtrays outside some of the rooms (they are outside), not too intrusive, but spoilt the look of the place. No on site restaurant, nearby places didn't open early enough for me. Nothing. If it had small fridge would be perfect. There was nothing not to like, if there was one thing it was checkout time of 10:30 am being too early. But I will be staying here again. 1.Only being able to obtain extra tea, coffee, sugar and milk at a cost of 20p. per sachet. Fortunately we were pre-warned by having read the reviews of previous guests. 2. No on-site cafe or restaurant, though the staff did supply brochures for the local take-aways. The town, if you could call it that!!!!. the rooms were not cleaned automatically and when they were beds were not made and bleach smell after use.rooms not asked to be cleaned no extra coffee or tea was provided,small issues but important ones. Nothing to dislike, extremely comfortable and helpful. Not much in the town, but this is nothing to do with the Hotel. Can't think of a thing. we informed staff we were just popping out for breakfast prior to vacating our room and checking out, we even put do not disturb hanger on door only to return and find that staff had been into our room. very disappointed!!. no fridge. Nothing everything was 100%. No cooked breakfast available on site. ** "generous cold breakfasts" are available. Nothing to report. * Be careful with rooms no. 9 and no. 10 because there is a door in between them and it makes the rooms noisy. Thats not an issue with all the other rooms "outside". nothing not to like. Nothing. whats to dislike!. Being told I would have 4 questions to answer in this survey when there are 6!. nothing not to like. Nothing at all. Nothing. The upstairs rooms have no view.
