We were greeted by a really friendly receptionist and upgraded from executive to the suite which was really nice! The room was extremely spacious, so was the bathroom, everything was clean and modern. The kitchen was nicely contained with everything needed to prepare and store basic meals. Tescos was only 5mins away which came in handy. 20 min walk from the nearest station and only a 2 min stroll from the park so everything was close enough by. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be com.
all reviews » good service, they moved us from a by us booked suite room to their luxury suite, because it was available. Rooms have lots of space. Central London by bus takes 15 minutes. Seated above in busses gives the best view of London. SO Park, once again very friendly and happy giving service. When we return we'd be back. Also, SOPark near nice park/gardens. Near fantastic Italian food incl. pizza restaurant where they're singing Italian. The hotel is well-located with fast and frequent buses to Victoria and Clapham Junction stations. As a family with young children, the flexibility of being able to prepare our own breakfast at a time to suit us is very useful. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. Large main room, a huge bathroom with both a shower and bath, walk-in wardrobe and air-con. Bed was very comfy? Several different bus lines close by which made getting around quie easy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again!. The room was very spacious and well appointed. The location was superb with access to Battersea Park, the trains, buses and within walking distance to various locations. We loved how quiet the hotel was. the room was spacious and very clean, kitchen facilities very ok, I would definitily recommend this hotel. The 'kitchenette' in every room makes it very self contained; particularly attractive for a longer stay. There are no 'trimmings' of bar , restaurant , leisure facilities etc. but there are plenty of eating options nearby, a good pub directly across the road and a cab company 30 yards away. Roomy apartment with secure parking. Good location in Battersea Park Road. If you're nervous about security this place is like Fort Knox. The suite was a good size and clean. There is a great pub opposite called The Lost Angel. Fantastic food and gorgeous friendly staff. Good service and excellent reception staff, good housekeeping services. Room clean and tidy but a long way from tube and no cabs in morning. the room was very spacious and clean. nice space, bed very comfortable. Cleanliness and quiet. location bathroom. There was no phone in the room so we had to call reception from our mobile in order for us to extend check out which caused a bit if confusion and inconvenience but was sorted in the end. Nothing!. The car park is difficult to find and access. The room is not very well lit. The tea and coffee wasn't replenished during my stay (6 nights). The power point for the kettle was set too high in the wall so the kettle had to hang at an angle when boiling. The kitchen should have a chipping board and a decent knife in addition to the items there, especially as its advertised as a fully equipped kitchen but only had the basic items. Only small things though which didn't really affect my stay. I wouldn't know, it was very good value for your money. The location is a bit outside, but I understood that there are restaurants in the area. There is a very nice pub right around the corner. - the closest tube station is 9 min walk. Room was on front and road traffic noise was evident. There was no kettle! So boiled water in saucepan for tea. The bed was a bit too soft, also could have been bigger, the room was quite big so a king size bed would be much better. Difficult to find without any directions attached to booking. Location is a bit out of the way, and not much round there. The local taxi driver called by the hotel, although no fault of the hotel they should attempt to build relationships with a more reputable firm. The toilet seat was cracked and therefore a health hazard when we arrived. We reported this. No bar / breakfast option. Most importantly, there was only ever a single member of staff on duty, thus if they went to assist someone in the car park, you could be waiting in the lobby for 10-15 minutes before they returned. nothing much that i didnt like. - the floor had not been cleaned, a lot of dust in the cupboards as well. Hot water not turned on and No explanation by staff that boiler hidden in cupboard. No little touches like tea-towels etc and all a bit sterile. Car Park inaccessible from apartment without staff help. I thought I read there was coffee shop located below apartments but this was a nice seating area with coffee making facilities. If there was additional facilities we didn't see them and the staff didn't point this put to us. the two beds in the luxury suite were in the same room. A sofa bed and large queen. No tea towel for drying dishes in small kitchen area. Ideal for families. but I have a note on the bed where it is very soft and uncomfortable. No room key when I got in so spent 45mins at 2am whilst night porter tried to find another key. Very poor and won't stay again. Black cab drivers did not seem to know where it was. Since it was quite hot this summer in London though the room was AC, but considering the design of the family suite the cooling was not fast and effective in both the rooms. we booked suite but got a normal double room + a small old bed on the side for a 14year old child. The kitchenette was also equiped only for 2 person. Nice hotel but no way 4star!. We had been allocated the disabled room which is suitable for wheelchair using guests. The bedroom and bathroom showed signs of wear and tear. Also, dead trees sitting at entrance:(. Lack of cleanliness Staff talking in different language (non English) in front of customers Location- not near a tube. -Lift was broken for the entire three days and we had to use the stairs. -The cleaning service did not change the sheets for the entire stay, nor did the throw out any rubbish on the tables/counters (ie used disposable contact cases) and did not do any dishes (self catering, cups half full of coffee left on the counter). This is no where near being a 4 star facility. No food or beverages TV positioned awkwardly on side wall No safe Cars are loud inside the rooms with windows closed No phones in rooms No bathrobes No kettle (while there was coffee packets) Empty fridge Dead spider in the lobby bathroom for my entire stay Excessively complicated wifi connection No nearby tube station Booking needs to revise this star rating. For a 3 star property it's ok but it's advertised as 4 stars here.
