We stayed at this hotel with our 9 years old son. The good thing is, first of all, that the hotel offers family rooms. Convenient booking (with no deposit required). Excellent breakfast; they offer full traditional breakfast which I like the most. Nice clean room and the bathroom. Quiet location, but it's close to the Angel station, which is very convenient. Exceptional courtesy and friendliness of the staff - including responsiveness to a couple of small issues regarding the room. Comfort of room - large comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom, effective a/c, quiet. Nice breakfast. Location - near tube and buzz of Islington's Upper Street.

Family friendly with nice touches such as pencils and pictures for the kids to colour in the bar and restaurant area. Lots of choice of family friendly pubs and restaurants within walking distance too. The hotel was very clean and well presented. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was very good. Despite being near to a busy road the hotel was very quiet which was a big plus. Near to bus stops, tube station and plenty of variety of places to eat. I would stay again without hesitation. For some reason, they gave us just two towels/cups/etc. So that I had to ask for the third towel explicitly. But that was fixed very quickly. If you compare the price with North Americal hotels of the same class, you may find London prices a bit high. But this is what you should expect in London; the place is pretty expensive. Very little. A safe deposit box in room would be a nice addition.,. Four beds in one room was a little cosy, but we were only staying 2 days, so it wasn't a problem. The price was a little high. The room keeping was not that good. In the last days the beds weren't properly made and in the last night they forgot the towels. But those are minor details as the cleaning was always good. I reserved the family room which is advertised as a quadruple room, but in reality it was just a normal double room with two extra beds. One bed was a folded bed and the other was the sofa bed originally in the room. With all these beds placed next to eachother, there was virtually no free space in the room left. Another negative point is the fact that there was no fridge/mini bar in the room. Nothing. Nothing really enjoyed the hotel. However, you's spend and fortune in London itself. breakfast- carbon copy-each day with very few options from which to chose. I have also to admit that the food they have was very good. I prefer to be able to open a window, fresh air is better than air conditioning. I never really enjoy food that has been sitting keeping warm for a long period of time, the breakfast food was overcooked. Nothing to complain about. It was all good. Nothing. Didn't have bar soap for shower (very minor). There is nothing negative to say. A bit pricey for what it offers. Breakfast (not included in price) was good and sufficiently varied for us (we eat mainly musli / fruit) but for others it may be lacking (there are basically only 2 options: English breakfast or sweet option - musli, fruit, croissants, jam etc.). No dislikes. Nothing. Half an hour of free WiFi is a bit mean. Many smaller hotel groups offer free WiFi at all times. I'm sure Premier Inns would score even higher if they changed this policy!. permanently closed windows noisy A/C. Unfortunately rude, foul mouthed and drunk fellow hotel guests across the hall. However, the staff noted it when we informed them on our departure. There weren't enough staff to cope with breakfast so we had it elsewhere. Nothing. nothing. Bed sheets not changed even once during one week. Only small fault with water in wash basin not draining, but this was quickly resolved. When we were going to bed, we switched off the air con unit but could still hear a loud hum. After calling up a member of staff, he told us it was the building's air circulation system which couldn't be turned off. This was humming as loud as an air conditioning unit and made it difficult for us to get to sleep. We have stayed in many other hotels and never heard such a loud noise from an air system before that couldn't be turned off. Noisy lads in adjoining room for one night. Nothing. We couldn't check in immediately and had to book in when we returned at 11.30pm after we went out. Sofa bed was not made up in one room and had to be made up at 11.30pm.
