We stayed in an apartment that is recently refurbished and is very clean and equipped with everything: big fridge with a freezer (very handy to quickly chill champagne), range with oven, all pots and pans, sink, all plates and cutlery. The bathroom is new and sparkling clean if a bit small but the shower is good size. It has free Wi-Fi. Overall it was fantastic value for the money. It was very convenient for our group - as there was enough space in the apartment for all of us - my friend slept . all reviews »
Everything was perfect!!Very clean,every day clean service,TV,clean bathroom,very cosy and quite big apartment. Ideal for cheap vacations,since it is fully equiped and you can even cook.Great location, very close to underground and Madame Tussads.Next to a supermarket.

This is such amazing value for money! Gorgeous and clean 1 bed apartment. For the price you can book this room, it makes no sense to book a room for a similar price in London. You simply can't compare. The kitchen arean is great and fully equipped. Great bedroom. Bathroom has a lovely finish to it, and above all else, was spotless and clean.
Very comfortable instalations. Clean and a very nice place to stay.
Attendance from Mr. Louca and his crew was really helpfull and kind. All
equipment offered in letsbookhotel.com was there and functioning. As the flat
has a kitchen and a little supermarket is a few steps from there, you
can save a lot of money on breakfast or dinner.
Excellent, prompt & friendly service from owner who has business next door even though we were really late booking in. Spacious, modern, very clean apartment with great kitchen. Perfect location within easy walking distance of tube. Cafe's, restaurants, shopping around corner. Highly recommend. We'll return. This place should be classed as 5 star!! I am a very fussy person and this place just satisfies my every need. I have stayed at the Dorchester in London which is very pretty but this place just feels like home, too good to be true. I stayed in Apartment C on the top floor. The Lodge is a two minute walk from Marylebone station. It is equipped with everything you need for a longer stay - fridge, microwave, hob, oven, etc etc. M&S food store at Marylebone. Plenty of hot water in the shower - really can't fault for the money.
Genuine apartment type with double bedroom and sitting room. Large screen TV with fair range of channels plus DVD. Good kitchen facility with freezer and dishwasher. Clean and well designed. Helpful staff. Reasonably priced. Why go to the Travelodge next door unless they've got a deal going?.
Actually, I like its location and how the staff treat us in a wonderfull way. It is also very nice, tidy and cleaness apartment. There is a tesco express near to the lodge and the underground is just only two minutes from the lodge. It is also four minutes to oxford by the underground.
This is my third time staying at this apartments it's my fav. place to stay whenever im in London. the apartment is so comfortable and clean and the kitchen is fully furnished the location is fantastic ( near Marylebone station).

It was great value. The location was excellent, the service was friendly and helpful, and the apartment was very clean with good facilities, excellent quality bed linen and thankfully not a foam pillow in sight.
Absolutely spotless. Everything we needed was provided - including wifi. I have a son with A.D.H.D. and Asperger syndorme. He finds different places a 'challange' - but he loved it. Would deffinately use again!.

The entry phone was not working and when our group separated and I arrived at the door later than others and pressed the bell, my husband and my friend did not hear anything.

Shower was either boiling hot or cold! no middle ground....so the shower wasn't so enjoyable, but a small issue, in an otherwise fantastic stay.

I guess if you're after hotel with facilities and 24 hr helpdesk this is not for you. Did not bother me in the slightest as I have stayed in some grotty places in london for similar price.
Although the main bedroom was quiet and comfortable the front room with a sofa bed and fold up bed was only single glazed and very noisy, and beds were not comfortable.
There was also quite a lot of damage to fixtures and fittings from previous guests.
As I have osteoarthritis in both hips and knees, the stairs were a bit too much.
It was a bit noisy from neighbours living in travel lodge on Saturday evening.
Only dislike was mould on the bathroom ceiling but as it didn't really affect me, it's only a small complaint.

The kitchenette is lacking in a few basic utensils eg frying pan, colander, sharp knife. Trying to self cater over a period of time could be an issue.

Apartment probably needs a few tiny jobs like sorting out cracks etc but this is a budget accommodation and it offers excellent value for London. Would definitely stay here again.
The only little thing that I didn't like was the shower. You either get cold freezing water or boiling hot.

Settee not very comfortable (as it's a bed settee), bathroom had no heater (which wouldn't matter except on the coldest winter days which is when we were there).

Curtains do not work properly and are unable to block the morning sunlight. Personally I found this most uncomfortable. Fitting blackout blinds would enhance the overall guest experience at a marginally low cost.

Not easy to find the place. The reception is the solicit next door. And they don't work on weekend. Our living room is facing the street so it was very noisy during night. Our first night in london was very hot, but there was no air condition, so it wasn't pleasant at the beginning.
After reconfirming our arrival twice shortly before travel we found
nobody available for check-in when we arrived,had to stand in sun on
pavement trying to contact the owner with no success.Finally I phoned
letsbookhotel.com and the problem was sorted.Although the establishment
compensated for my phone costs it could not compensate for time lost as
we had only one day in London,limiting our experience.Very dirty
entrance.Flimsy noisy floors.

Kitchen needs better equipment. eg no cooking untensiles or sharp knives. Inadequate fans for a rare hot week in London, so had to leave windows open and it was very noisy.

Noise from street. Constant traffic through the night, including several sirens, think it is on route to hospital. Windows of flat rattle when lorries go by. Not too bad in bedroom, but if you're using bed in living room don't expect to sleep unless you are heavy sleeper.
