The hotel was wonderful we couldnt have asked for more. The staff friendly and helpful, The lobby beautiful and clean and very plush looking. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The only thing I could find any fault with is that the bathroom was small but even then it was a lovely bathroom so we didnt mind too much.Very good location aswell. Close to everything!!!!!!!!!!!. all reviews »
The room was very spacious and extremely comfortable. The health club facilities were very good and well taken care of. The breakfast is excellent and the restaurat is very nice. The position of the hotel is also very central (few steps from Oxford circus) I would certainly go back there. The New bar the new menu in the restaurant room service, the fact there is a gym and pool to relax in, the morning papers available outside restaurant. the staff made you feel special and very welcome to be staying at the hotel. i found nothing was too much trouble for them. excellent food. very nice staff, beautiful room, quiet. nice atmosphere between traditional and boutique hotel, cosy bar, very good food in the restaurant. We loved the fact that the staff wanted to please and were interested in our stay, it made it an even more memorable experience.it was very easy to get to and the staff were very friendly and helpful wish i could of stayed for longer!. Hotel was excellent, staff were more than helpful, just off oxford st, room was nicer than we expected. fantastic- central yet quiet. got upgrade to penthouse suite - wonderful views. Location, amenities, facilities. However, I would like a pair of slippers. Extremely helpfull and kind people woorking there. Clean and nice hotel. Proximity to weekend activities, and position near to Oxford Street. The hotel was beautiful and the room was large and well appointed. The price and the helpful attitud of the front desk staff. The room was amazing and the staff were very helpful. ambience of hotel and great location. helpful staff.Diana staff member v v helpful and welcoming. The helpfullness of the staff. The staff were very helpful. the interior. the comfort. Very good. The location of the Hotel was excellent. Our room was presented very well, it was a good size and tea and coffee making facilities were available. The staff were very helpful and curtious. cleanliness comes before everything else , the location was where we needed to be ,so together it made an enjoyable stay. The friendly professional staff. Large well equipped comfortable room. Proximity to shopping area. Taxi rank outside. Comfortable, helpful friendly staff, very classy hotel. Great location and decent facilities. I'd go back no prob. very friendly and accormodating staff.... decor was beautiful......comfortable sized room. really close to everything but very quiet - staff lovely and it was very luxurious. LOcation, price, standard of accomodation, excellent friendly staff. Close to all the shops, staff extremely helpful and happy to help. the concierge was extremely helpful and perfect location. the welcome by staff and the decor was lovely. clean room, great location, good facilities. well placed hotel with good facilities.Location. location. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna area was spot on. The bar was very modern with a relaxed atmosphere serving all the usual drinks and good range of cocktails. Breakfast was top, but did cost almost £20. Perfect location for a weekend in London with most places we visited being within 20 minutes whether by tube, foot or rikshaw. Everthing , it´s a very nice 4 star hotel could be a 5 if the rooms aren´t so small, but in general was everthing very nice!!! Price/location/decoration /staff /gynm. The room was very well done. Lovely design. I liked the free internet, but it was hooked up next to the television instead of the work desk. Very odd. staff was really very much trying to make the best for me out of unpleasant situations (room not ready, internet not working in room). The location, bar and restaurant, and health club and pool are all excellent. The staff were always polite and very responsive. Combined a night in the hotelwith a theatre trip and lots of shopping asOxford Street is just a 5 minutes walk away. The standard of the accommodation was excellent. Location was good (walking distance) for shopping and theatres. Location location! Staff were also very friendly and efficient. Rooms were lovely. the make-over gets a thumbs up. Very comfortable and attractive public areas. Good breakfast offering with efficient staff. The location was superb and the rooms very comfortable. The business centre is a big plus. The staff were excellent; friendly and attentive but not over bearing or obsequious. Location was good, hotel staff helpful and facilities were good. Staff and atmosphere were very good. Location was fantastic. Doyle's still hold true to Irish Hospitality and there is nothing bad to say about this hotel.i could not find any faults about the hotel or staff. i cannot understand where the negative feedback comes from. I did surgentley not like the sketchual for the pool. We were at that hotel because there was a pool. But children are only allow 45 min a day and it´s decided when at the day.The exterior was under construction at the time of my stay, so there was scaffolding directly outside our window. Cleaniness of the swimming pool could have been better. No Security Safe in room. Price of breakfast.the staff in resturaunt were nice but did not seem professional. there was no heat, only slight hot air from the a/c unit. attitude of the trainers of the gym room. Small bathroom. The rooms, depite being very modern and well presented, are a bit on the small side. Also, a cup of tea cost £9!!!. the mini-bar wasn´t could. There was construction being done on two floors up and was unfortuately the reason we left early. Hammering, drilling and heavy foot steps commenced at 9am and continued until 5pm. It was not worth the price we paid to wake up to that every morning. The hotel did offer to move us, but the room was much smaller and it was only 20 pounds cheaper. We would have stayed if not for the construction. The bed was a bit too soft. Peeling paint in the bathroom. The hotel is excellent - it does not look great from the outside but thedecor and the internal quality is excellent. The only problem was thestaff who were all a bit too laid back and could do with the proverbialrocket up their backside !. Food and drink prices excessive, even by London standards!. Pricey room-service menu. Our room was very noisy as it was situated above the goods inwards/service area for the hotel. On arrival there was no remote control for the TV in the room, and it took three calls to resolve this. The main shower was defective, i.e. we could only generate a trickle of water and had to use the handset. The health centre is not at the same hig standard, a bit dated. The bathroom, though new, was poorly installed. Toilet was very small.
