We stayed on 4 different occasions over 3 weeks, from 4 nights in a row, down to a couple of one nighters. The Hotel is close to transport (Tube, buses and dlr), the staff are friendly, and the rooms very small (but weknew that), but as a base to sleep it was just great. We would certainlygo back again. There is a communal lounge and kitchen if you want, alaundrette and a superette nearby. The room and onsuite (which was a big plus point for the price) bathroom were very clean, comfortable and in good working order. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a clean and sufficient kitchen to use. location was good, 2 mins walk from tube then 10mins(ish) to city centre. Brilliant hotel well connected to central london. Hotel staff very friendly.hotel is very close to the superstores and restuarants. very neat and clean rooms.i would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again!. The kitchen especially during the fasting month of Ramadan, it was very useful and convenient to cook own food at the middle of the night. The management staff are also very friendly, helpful and resourceful. Congratulations. Fast, friendly service from Reception, even got a quiet room as requested, really close to all public transport, especially the DLR (just around the corner of hotel). Superb for an overnight in Town. Absolutely the best hotel I've been in London. If you want to have a nice stay, this is the hotel you have to choose. Near Tube and bus stop, in a nice street with lot of services. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spotlessly cleanrooms and communal areas. Able to use kichen facilities which were modern and clean. Good transport links to City centre. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpfull, I would stay there again. Very good hotel with excellent staff. I was really satisfied.very friendly and helpfully staff, clean rooms... staff are very helpful and friendly. First of all, the hotel staff (receptionists) was very kind, friendly and extremely helpful. One of them was always smiling - I felt like in a warm family guesthouse - great. Big advantage was perfect cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The heating in room was ok..Well equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave and oven that was opened 24h and free of charge. 24h grocery store was 50m. The staffs were great and friendly. There's kitchen facilities. The room and the bathroom was clean and proper. For the price everything was excellent within the hotel. Convenience and cleanliness of hotel. Friendly staff.Very Clean. General level of comfort. The room was not too small (a characteristic of many rooms in London), the room was very clean, the bathroom facilities modern and the staff very friendly. It was also ideally located for local bus and underground transportation.Clean and comfortable (not luxurious though, just the basic things to spend 1 or 2 nights), close to the tube station, quiet area. Good location to explore the East End, and good commutes to the town centre. Friendly staff, clean rooms, use of a full kitchen, decent tv and wireless internet available for free. Seems to be a good value for London, although the city is ridiculously expensive to begin with.nice, clean and renovated rooms + very friendly staff + breakfast and kitchen possibilities + free wireless internet. Very clean room, appeared to have been only recently refurbished anddecorated. Close proximity to public transport. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Flexibility to prepare own meals using their facilities. you get full use of the kitchen, which great way to save money on food. free wireless connection. I got a very clean room and it's large enough for me. The receptionist is friendly and helpful. Nice staff, kitchen, rooms, cleanliness and location.24 hour reception and friendly staff. Place, hotel staff, price...The staff were very helpful. Close to underground 3 minutes walk. By underground 20 minutes to center of London. Asked for quiet room and got one in the backa nd in the basement. Room was small but clean considering other London hotels. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast wes there on do-it-yourself basis. Basic supplies are in the kitchen. Milk, egs, juice, coffee, chese, cereals and yougurt. Kitchen is fully equiped.Lots of value for the money. Clean and tidy rooms. The bathroom was recently rebuilt and very fresch. To have access to a kitchen was excellent. It was nice, clean and fully equipped. Easy to cook and/or heat food. Fantastic location with regards to docklands and the O2 arena, also staff extremely helpful and polite. Price of stay represented good value for money.excellent location......... DLR station is at the door, bus station is 2 mins walk and tube station is 5 mis walk. very much. The staff are very friendly and the guest kitchen is a wonderful place for a budget. The friendliness and helpfulness of the member of staff when wechecked in. nice bed, friendly staff, good value!! good location!!. Friendly. Friendly and very helpful staff! Although they don't serve breakfast in this hotel, cereals, milk, bananas, teaandcoffee are for free in the kitchen area. Room was quite clean and had good wireless internet,TV and extra heaters for cold weather.Very friendly staff - basic room but clean with a huge walk in shower -good value for money. The room was spotless and staff helpful, self service kitchen agood idea.Perfect place, only 4 min from Bow Road underground station. Friendly staff, nice kitchen, close to underground. Clean, underground is very close. location, price, excellent staff. Friendly Staff, our room was right next to shared Kitchen, which wasgreat for us, after a long trip we could have breakfast in bed, and makeour own dinner. Everyone seemed to clean up after each other which wasnice. Next to laundry service place. Supermarket nearby. Nice and friendly staff. Good location, if you like the East end. Good communication with buses, DLR and Underground. Very English and Londonish atmosphere . Enjoyable.Kitchen facilities to do our own cooking. Next door to dlr at BowChurch. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room. Close to tube station and a 15 minutes walk to Queen Mary University, Mile End Campus. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. Basic but comfortable and friendly. Good value for money for London. No - we knew what we were getting and the price for us Kiwis was great!!. The rooms are not serviced daily. I disliked the procedure of pre-authorization of the money in the amount of one night stand - you cannot use the money few weeks, what is unacceptable for me. The room, bathroom and the bed was very small, but it is quite normal in London. The windows were old-english style, so the noise from the busy street was noticeable even when they were closed.. When we took a shower, the bathroom floor was kind of get flooded. Hot water was on and off.My only complaint would be the road. It is extremely noisy, however itdid not bother my girlfriend as she is a deeper sleeper than me. My room had two large windows overlooking a very busy street (Bow Road) and therefore it was a tad noisy at times. But I am a sound sleeper and therefore was not affected by it much. In fact I appreciated being able to open the windows for fresh air. All in all, just a very minor point. Not much room to place things in the bathroom, needs a shelf or something like that. The room is not regularly cleaned each day, although one can apparently request it (not a big deal to me but might be to others). Also, there was no alarm clock in the room (fortunately I brought my own). If you happen to be a light sleeper, you might want to note that when booking the room as some are right on the busy street. No tea/coffee making facility in the room, no double glazing so roomnoisy as on main road. no tea-making facilities in the room. A bit far from the city centre. There was no shampoo and shower gel in the shower room (though I asked the receptionist and got it later). Nor was hair dryer. It seems to me that the room door doesn't look secure. The staff were very friendly and service minded but seemed to be a bit unexperienced to run a hotel. The only critisism albeit minor, was the fact that breakfast is on a DIY basis. This is not made clear at point of booking. As I say, a minor detail. A mirror in the bedroom (as well as the only one in the bathroom)woudl be useful. Bathroom smelled badly and there was a lot of noise in the room coming from the street (hotel is near police station and hospital). Noise from the road. Noisy. Rooms were a bit small and pokey, no air vent in bathroom, wouldnt wantto be oversized couple as bed small. But was comfy. They didnt changetowles or refresh room when we were out, so not really like a hotel, Andsomeone stole our yoghurt from fridge. Nevertheless, if you want to stayin the ritz, book the ritz. Otherwise this is ok.Not really. A few minor details like a toothbrush glass and shelf for soap in the shower was missing.Just a couple of more clothes hangers could have been practical. Breakfast only just worth its price. Breakfast room. Our room wasn't really a double room - no wardrobe, bedside light etc.
