Very welcoming, room perfectly adequate for a short stay. Plenty of hot water. Quiet ambience. Breakfast staff helpful and speedy. Convenience to St Pancras as described. All in all I can thoroughly recommend this B & B for a short stopover. . friendly staffs and everyday cleaned our room. yummy english breakfast. Actually stayed in the "sister" hotel Central Hotel--across the street. The hotel staff was great!! The included breakfast was cooked to our order. Extremely convenient to King's Crossing subway--about 1/2 block away. Although street (at nearby subway) noise was somewhat loud, the closed window blocked almost all of it.

This made a horrific knocking sound by thewashbasin in our room every time someone took a shower!. the room is different with the photos. Bedrooms were tiny very very small. I arrived at 6.30 pm to be told my room was not ready and had to wait 20 minutes. I had booked a double room but was given a single, I was asked if I was on my own first. I was then told I would be charged £5 for using a card to pay and when I protested at the wait the charge was dropped, allegedly. The room was very small, adequate for one night but no longer. There was no where to put toiletries. No elevator. Had to carry luggage up narrow winding stairs with no offer to help me. The room was dimly lit and dismal. Some light paint would cheer it up.The rooms were very "used" and small - screaming to be refurbished. The bathroom in one of the rooms smelled quite musty and water came up between the tiles when stepping on the floor. Room to small,Bed to small,Bathroom to small,not told until we arrived that there was work being carried out in the hotel,breakfast wasn't cooked properly.Room was no bigger than a broom cupboard, the en suite sink was child size, toilet cramped, shower - no use at all - no room to turn around. everything.
