My friend and I stayed at the A to B Hotel for a week in September and just loved it! There is an English Breakfast to be had but if you are a vegetarian, that's fine too and you can just have eggs/ tomatoes/ toast... The staff is just lovely and always tries to make sure that you are not lacking anything. Our room was very nice, with a pretty view of the garden. The location is great, a little outside of London but very well connected to the city centre. All in all, you get a great deal for th.
all reviews » We stayed at this hotel for one night due to my husbands work, didn't want a long journey home that night. We arrived and were upgraded to an ensuite though we didn't pay for it, which was kind. The rooms are basic but clean and we were very impressed with the breakfast the next morning. Management was lovely and were more than helpful to us. I would recommend staying at this hotel if you want value for money, a clean room and nice staff.really good place to stay as only couple of minutes from station to get to tubes. aabout 10 minutes into piccadilly. parking available too. room was clean and comfortable with nice clean bedding and towels. breakfast lovely, usual cerel, juice, fresh coffee and full breakfast. staff very friendly. would highly recommend. Room 1 was quite nice, bed was clean and comfortable, tea & coffee provided, doors to back garden on a hot night allowed plenty fresh air. Plenty of spare pillows. Novelty en-suite in a special built cupboard inside room which functioned good, I would stay again. For easy access to Wembley stadium it was perfect. The number 83 bus stop was directly opposite the B&B and we got our bus to and from the concert with complete ease. The wall paper could do with being refreshed bed but bed and room were cosy and warm. rooms facing garden side very quite, good value for money !!, felt comfortable, slept well, close to tube station, surrounding with a lot of restaurants and shops. Excellent location, clean and comfy but room was a little bit small but a we only needed somewhere to sleep it was fine. Breakfast was lovely and plenty. But we didn't stay there for the wallpaper choice ;). unnecessary furniture filling the room, choice and arrangement of furniture could be done with more aesthetic consideration, would be good to exchange carpets by laminate flooring, as carpets are difficult to clean. Nothing, served its purpose as somewhere to sleep following concert at Wembley. Since we stayed there for 9 days, the breakfast always included the same things, with little variety. This time for some reason no English breakfast on 2nd morning. Just eggs boiled fried etc..Not what was advertised. A bit tired looking, some repairs required, asked to leave the breakfast area to make way for other people (should really replace the sofa in the dining room with a few more tables). Breakfast, but this was because the hotel was very ful and apparently a chef was missing. Result was poor service, cold food, etc. Probably a one-off and we were unlucky. tv doesn't work. just the fact it needed a good re furb. Shared facilities and rooms could do with an upgrade to freshen them us. Sink in room trickled water so was not much use. A bit shabby and worn-down. Mixed feelings about the staff. Room very warm & creaky floors, beds so-so & still made with sheets and blankets. WiFi reception poor (only in the dining room). rooms very tired and poor maintenance. tv did not work and we had to move rooms then still had prob,em with it and i sorted it myself. No brown bread only serve white for breakfast i heard other residents complaining about the place. they need to be aware of non meet breakfasts for vegetarians. i think the problem is that the owner may not be too well-the place is neglected. Traffic noise, especially sirens of emergency services vehicles disturbed nighttime. Too small room, so not convenient for long stays. Breakfast room cramped, bathroom was a bit tatty, breakfast was far to greasy and undercooked. Reading lamps over beds broken,. English breakfast only - nice to have occasionally but not every morning. decor very outdated. A lot of repairs needed in room and showers. Small shower. Bedroom - a bit shabby, deco and furniture from 50's era. Net curtain appears dirty. Very small TV from 90's. Bed spread edge unfinished. The above bed lights the only modern items- 1 missing from the third bed. Would only spend a night here and never in winter as it would be droughty and maybe cold I cant recommend for more nights. A bit run down and not very good parking. The level of road noise in our room was a bit much, not helped by rather elderly single glazing in the windows. The whole place needs a refurb, very shabby and one of the shower rooms stunk like they had a problem with drains, the note on door said not safe don't use ! Only use this place is really really on a budget!. Very hot in the room, no airconditioner. Not flushing toilet. Rooms rather bland tv didnt work on most channels Overcrowded small breakfast room couldnt cope with so many people well So we cancelled our other booking. Decor shabby Bedding stained Toilet dirty Bathroom floor lifting, trip hazard Also when walking on cracked bathroom floor water squidged up, disgusting. Everything else. The hotel smelled weird and was so hot when we walked in. The room smelled like smoke and was so incredibly hot all night. The flush handle on the toilet was on the verge of falling off and there were cracks in the tank and i the sink. The paint was chipping on everything and the decor looked like it hadnt changed since the 60s. The duvet didnt look clean and so I had to stay on top of it rather than get under it. This was the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in.
