Great staff! Very friendly and professional. Hotel is modern and stylish with a touch of elegance. An extra plus was the comfortable bathroom. Top quality overall, I will definitely book this hotel again (been in London 20+ times, this Hotel is the best I stayed in so far). Located just a 50 meter walk from Liverpool Street Station, this is another plus. Leadenhall Market, Brick Lane and Old Spitalfield Market along with lots of pubs and restaurants are also just a few minutes away.
all reviews » The Andaz is stylish but relaxed and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The staff are great, nothing is too much trouble. Spotlessly cean in a areas. We were upgraded and a little birthday cake awaited us in our room for my husband's birthday. Requests were dealt with immediately and we even got a tour of the hotel as we were interested in the history and architecture. The location is ideal. Well done Andaz for making our stay so enjoyable. It was a very beautiful hotel - but not in the strict traditional way... There is no reception desk, the hosts (not receptionists) helpt you out and use a tablet if they need to use a computer - it is a true boutique hotel!!! The room was not that big but very comfotable and there was a very nice bathroom! Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. What I appreciated most of all was the friendliness and helpfulness of the whole staff!!! Well done!!!!. The location of this hotel is excellent for travelling to Oxford St and Bond St as it is situated next to Liverpool St. station. There is also a taxi service just outside the hotel. Convenient to stay here as we could get off the Stansted Express and go to our room straightaway. Staff, rooms, food, is all of top standards and particularly the free mini-bar (non-alcoholic) is obviously a draw. There was a bit of construction going on around or in the hotel on Saturday morning which was a bit disruptive for sleeping-in. Nothing. Only negative was – for us at least – the quality of the duvets, they were way to warm – it seems they thought a full-blast aircon would have made it. We stayed for the buffet breakfast in the 1901 room which had an average selection for hot options. Given the price, we expected an egg/omlette chef to be present as per other similar star hotels. no trouser press (hence the iron) but no big deal limited drawer space (more of an issue of staying longer). nothing all good. The noise of the shower going through the pipes. The hotel did not have our booking as there was an issue with the letsbookhotel.com website. All OK in the end as the hotel gave us a free upgrade for the trouble caused. the room decoration, a bit plain, after the design reception area. There seemed to be a lack of power points in the bedroom and at this kind of price I'd expect real coffee in the bedroom in place of instant. Nothing, it's a great hotel and I'd return again given the chance. Nothing!!!!!. We thought the food wasn't really up to standard for the money we payed. The wine was very cheap with an expensive price per glass and the breakfast was a little overpriced. The hotel was fantastic, it really was, but it's just a shame about the restaurants. Very dark entrance which makes you feel slightly uncomfortable on entering hotel. Can't come up with anything. Thought the food for room service was not up to standard both cold when arrived. Can't think of anything. Bars and restaurants closed a little early but they did have 24hr room service. Nothing. the pre-check-in process on-line was a fail. still had to wait for ID and booking verification, card swipe and key. very noisy old water pipes heard from other rooms. could hear every announcement from liverpool street station from the bathroom, where the sound-proofing wasn't up to scratch. fortunately couldn't hear the train announcements from the bedroom! felt like i was showering on the station concourse (which I could see though the window). Just glad they couldn't see me. There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel. Not enough outlets for geeks. (checked with one staff and he confirmed they will renovate the rooms around Nov-Dec 2013). Breakfast a bit pricey £24 P P. Pillows were too soft. . Very noisy toilet flushing as on a boat Small standard room. Breakfast should be included in accommodation price. No real spa -massage in the room. A bit noisy but didn't affect our sleep!!!. Nothing. There was nothing that I didn't like.
