We went on 19th December and was very surprised it was pleasantly warm, though we found it a little too hot in our room. Breakfast was great too. Very good value. My daughter thought all the different ways to go up and down the stairways very interesting. the staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean. I have stayed here many times and usually with several other people, we all had a good experience at this hotel.

The hotel is ideally located near Padington and Hyde Park, and the staff was kind and the rooms evan they are very small they were very clean. I was booking my airline flight on-line when one of the hotel staff requested that I move away from the computer while he attended to the adjoing computer as a result I lost my opportunity to check in on-line. the breakfast was poorly, needs to be more choice...Beware if you are a big guy or very tall - standard room could be a tight squeeze. Not really use it all the time. I would have prefered freshly made tea at breakfast. The tv, to small and old. At breakfast there was no orange juice,tomatoes or bacon, it wasn't the english breakfast !!!. I found the breakfast food on he cold side. True all the food was in hetaed trays but for some reaosn it was only slightly warm. The bathroom was a bit too small and the breakfast was not too special either.Information said a full English breakfast was available at a cost but that did not appear to be correct as we could not get one. breakfast. My partner had the English for an extra £3 which was ok, if a bit cold.1. Though use of internet is free, signs on computers said "Please approach reception to use internet", which was misleading. 2. Every day we returned to room to nap between ~14-16. Staff insisted on coming to clean room during those hours, though we asked room be cleaned between 9-12. During entire week they knocked on the door while we slept, even when we hung up a "please do not disturb" sign. The lift is incredibly slow. No hairdryer in the room although website stated there was.The bathroom is to small and smells bad, the room has scratches on the wall like if were a earthquake there. The breakfast was poor. Lots of stairs and doors.not much room in hotel. rooms quite small. this was the only downsider. Decor needs to be updated. Breakfast was a nightmare with children running everywhere. continental breakfast was meager and unappetizing. i did not like the breakfast selection?. the beds were too short and the elevator broke down three times during five days. Also the internet service was poor. the decor of the room was very tired. breakfast, very small room. There was quite a gap between the actual window and the wall, and there was construction going on in the building right outside our window. The crew started at 7:00 a.m. The construction noises were loud. Also, the room was very hot.
