Everything, it was just what I wanted. Please do not tell anyone about this hotel, it is a gem. Those reviews concerning no gym facilities know that when they book .. so why complain ? Also if you cant adjust the heating yourself then don't leave home without your nurse!. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a smile and that carried on the whole weekend, the staff were very friendly, the size of the room size was excellent and the view over the river was lovely.

I liked the welcome by reception and the comfort and facilities in the room also the size of bed for a single.The "European" staff very friendly, the views, the location, the beautifull rooms......the restaurant!. Staff were very well trained, attentive without being intrusive and very friendly. The bed was fantastic. Away on business but felt like sleeping in my own bed. The room and service was just excellent. The bed, the food. The location was superb and they upgraded our rooms to superior free of charge and these rooms were excellent. The room was very well equipped and furnished, it was centrally located and had off street parking. The room was very comfortalbe, the food excellent and the staff extremely polite and attentive.Very welcoming, comfortable and friendly. Piano bar excellent. I liked everything about the hotel although I thought it a bit odd that there were so few Scots employed there - I would have liked a better balance. The music at breakfast - Rap isn't breakfast music, whatever age you are!. A bit of corrider noise and had to fiddle around with the heating to get the room/bathroom warmed up, a minor issue. As a light sleeper i found it stupid having a light coloured blind behind a cream coloured curtain, I would recommend buying either dark or black out roller blinds and keep the curtains as they matched the furniture and bedding.The hotel itself was fine, with a very good restaurant.I thought though, it was overpriced at £150per night. The room was relatively small, there was no bath. There was no pool or leisure facilities.Although i really enjoyed my stay,I doubt i would stay there again purely on the price of the rooms. Food portions too small, especially breakfast. somebody operating some kind of garden? vacuum outside in the car pakr at 08-00 on a Saturday morning. After asking for a change of room from the first offer at back of the hotel (the room was very small for the cost -£100 per night, and it felt a little claustrophobic) I asked for a room overlooking the river Ness and was pleased to be offered one. Why was the customer not given one without having to ask. The room was indeed very small for 2 fairly well proportioned people and we could.room was cold. Tooexpensive .room.tv.bed too small! Bathroom cold.not exactly a power shower ,fan and water tanks very noisy .breakfast restaurant cold .service very slow. One of the waiters a tad sarcastic. Apart from him all others were excellent. Most of the milk on tea tray out of date. Paid for an executive double, the room was above the restuarant could here the music and also was woken by staff setting up for breakfast, banging plates,cutlery etc. at 0700hrs. This shouldn't happen when you get an executive room.loacation and comfort. Over priced for the accommodation compared with mainstream hotels in major cities. Not told about option for brasserie dining when arriving at 21:30. Compared to others on the same road, and other cities, Overpriced for the room size and facilities available.

The Glenmoriston Townhouse is divided into 2 buildings. Both buildings have rooms with river views. Please advise reception upon booking if you wish to be allocated in a room with a river view. There is no lift at The Glenmoriston Townhouse, if a ground-floor room is needed, please request it when booking. A security deposit of GBP 50 per day will be pre-authorised on the guest's card upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
