The Falmouth Prince of Wales Pier and Ferry Landing is a 10-minute walk, and Penmere Railway Station can be reached in 15 minutes.

Christmas time break meant a very cold wind for walking. We would have used the bar, if it was open, in hotel.the original room allocated had bath but no shower.However the following day we were moved without any hassle. did not like the bed and would have preferred a lift. Advertised as having a restaurant and bar. Evening meal was available and bar open only to evening meal guests. This is misleading. Paid when reserved and it is not refundable.

The Broadmead Hotel is an AA 2-star rated hotel, owned and run by Peter and Susie Erlam and their friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is easily found, 100 yards off the main A39 into Falmouth with its own free, private car park.
