Beautifuly decorated and very comfortable place to stay. Dean is a wonderful host - we felt like visiting an old friend. Good location as Edinburgh's Grouse House is situated in walking distance to all the attractions but far enough from them to easily find free parking. We will definitely stay there if we ever come back to Edinburgh. We loved Dean our host he was very knowledgable and interesting to talk to. The added advice helped us plan our days. The fact that everything was clean and comfortable and tastefully done made our stay very enjoyable. The location made it very easy to visit The Royal Mile and all local attractions and dining. We would stay again.

He gave us lots of good advice on where to eat, sights to see, buses and taxis etc. The walk to the royal mile was quick and easy, we were in quite a central location. The full English brekky was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Shame we couldn't stay a bit longer. Dean is a fantastic host. He knows the city, spends time with his clients, and was a joy to talk with. The room was simple and stylish, quiet, and safe. The biggest reason we would book here again is because dean is such a gracious host. Yummy breakfast with GOOD coffee, too. The host was lovely. Very accommodating! It was a 5-10 min walk to the beginning of the royal mile, plus its easy to park and get to with all the road construction. Very clean!. Excellent cooked breakfast! Friendly and helpful proprietor.
