I have stayed at the hotel three times now and find everything about itexcellent.i stayed there last week and had booked a single room cityfacing on line and when I got there had triple room with sea viewsfantastic.reception staff are very friendly and nothing is to muchtrouble.rooms very comfortable hot shower etc and television with musicchannel great.i am becoming regular visitor. The staff were very friendly, we had to wait for a while to book in because they had mixed up some booking,but they gave us a complimentary drink, it was clean very confable. all reviews »
The view of the sea from the window and how quiclky staff managed to clean the room. The room was big and just beautiful, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great, with a big shower.perfect location , very clean ,. Staff was very helpful. Unbeatable mid-week value. Clean, well appointed room with comfy bed. Adequate breakfast (not in room price). The location was absolutely superb, and very useful to have parking available on site.Clean, warm, lots of hot water, wireless, friendly staff. Very good cooked breakfast, overlooked seafront, parking on forecourt for £10 a day was great.Bedroon was clean and comfortable. A good choice for breakfast. great view from the room. Could not have asked for better.It was comfortable and the 24 hour bar was a plus. Great location, great breakfast. Room was clean. accessable to city centre and the sea view. The hotel is conveniently situated, and although they did not have the room i requested, they did throw in breakfast!. i like the hotel near the sea and it is not so far from city center. the position of hotel was opposite to te pier, which was about the only good thing. The location was excellent.the only thing I though was odd was the tea,coffee milk kettle ect was in a drawer, it took us a while to locate it. The only thing we did not like was the noise from the club under our room.breakfast should be included with booking fees. Room had broken windows, cold, dirty and small rooms, also hard to reach if carrying luggage.Jusat minor things, loo was very hard to flush, and plug didn't fit the sink properly, so water ran away as fast as it entered. car prk is not enough, and need to pay for.the staff were a bit rude. Only a few small things: shower head could hardly be fixed in position, water cooker a bit rusty.dont think you should be charged for using hotel carpark or the nightclub. Bit concerned about the steps down into the en-suite bathroom if water was to be spilled on the floor you would have to be extremely careful as not to fall and injure ones self. Lateness of being able to book in due to staff shortages. The tv was not tuned in so could not get all the channels on the leaftlet.My room was next to a noisy night club with a doorway into it by my door. People were running in and out and the music very loud until gone 3am!!!!! Friends in rooms further away said it was noisy for them too!!! it's fine if you are on a bender yourself and pass out!!!!. The wireless internet access only worked in the reception area. Due to the hot weather, rooms were very hot and humid.The shower didnt really work. The room was poorly decorated and had paint and wallpaper peeling, especially around the window frames. The room was not soundproof and we were kept awake until the early hours by the music from the club below.bed was too soft!. bed too small and room too small. It took 30 minute for my order to be taken at breakfast time, and then another 20 minutes for a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon. I appreciate the hotel was busy, but this is frankly too long. Although they were apologetic, the staff did lack a certain professionalism you would expect in a seafront hotel in Brighton. the service, the reception did not smile. small,dark,dingy room. the room size tiny double bed put into single room, bathroom suit new but scummy walls. the bedroom had scum all over the walls tv didnt work properly, double bed was tiny and very uncomfortable cleaners were rude, no food in the hotel in the afternoon or evening. this hotel has a 4 star rating but this was no way 4 star more like 2 or 3 if you are in a good mood. wouldnt stay again. In need of an overhaul. Tired and dated, Broken shelf in bathroom, dirty window in bedroom, tv did not work and bathroom was in need of replacement. I have emailed the hotel with my complaint.

Travelling information
By Road:
- From the M23/A23 follow the signs for the seafront.
- Keep going until you see the Brighton Pier in front of you, turn left at the roundabout and you will find the hotel about 300 meters on your left hand side.
By Rail:
- From Brighton train station head straight down Queen's Road to the seafront.
- At the seafront turn left into Kings Road. On the right you will see the Brighton Pier.
- At the roundabout take the second exit (A259) into Marine Parade and the New Madeira Hotel is about 200 metres on your the left hand side (walking time is approximately 20-30 minutes).
