  We had a fantastic stay at The Spread Eagle Inn and plan to return soon.The staff were all welcoming, friendly and efficient. If they couldn't answer a question about the locality they found some one who could!The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished. We ate lunch and breakfast which were both delicious and look forward to sampling the din... what people say » ner menu on our return visit.Highly recommended! - We were made very welcome. It was very good of the hotel to ring andadvise me that they had an event on the everning of our stay in therestaurant and asked if we would like to attend. Although we did notattend the event it did not in any way spoil our evening meal. The mealwe had was excellent. If I come to the area again I would try and stayat the Spread Eagle again.
