  The relaxed, friendly and efficient attitude of the staff. The room was excellent and the surroundings created a welcoming and relaxed experience. - We have stayed at the Powdermills hotel before so we knew what standard to expect, however the junior suite was extremely good value.

  The staff were brilliant; friendly and helpful. The location on a golf course was beautiful, with stunning views and was also very peaceful with lots of wildlife; we saw deer and badgers during our two day stay. The breakfast was good, with excellent service, but maybe did not have the variety of larger hotels. The rooms were relatively small b... what people say » ut were clean and comfortable. - it was a good room comfortable for a double bed. nice quite location with nice views of golf course, a good choice of breakfast, the staff were good and the young lady who cooked the breakfast was good fun and chatty toasted my Irish soda bread for me, - quiet location, friendly welcoming staff, comfortable room, wildlife on site (rabbits, owls etc), pitch black at night so ideal for stargazing or as this time, watching an atmospheric storm. Oh, and if you play golf, its in the middle of a golf course!

  The Owners were lovely and made our stay very enjoyable. The room was amazing, everything was very clean. There was tea and coffee facilities and a mini bar, but i think the best things of all were the shower and four poster bed they were amazing. We also had dinner which was all freshly cooked it was excellent couldnt fault anything. Loved every second of it. Most importantly no TV in the room-we actually could talk to each other!
