  Was a bit wary given the bad reviews, but this was a fantastic experience. Lovely old castle with modern facilities, friendly staff, peaceful location with large grounds, huge beds, superb breakfast, and the gym and pool facilities were top class.   arrived shortly after 2pm on the Friday, swiftly checked in by the friendly receptionist, we payed on arrival and were quickly given our key cards told of all the facilities within the hotel. The hotel was busy with christmas parties but we expected it to be and it didn't dampen our moods. Great location off union street and pubs and clubs all dow... what people say » n the street. Even though it was busy with the windows and curtains closed we couldn't hear a thing and both slept great on the big comfy beds. Room a - The park inn is modern and very well done I.e décor and layout, being a smoker I liked the section of outdoors within the building which is a great idea saving you from standing out the front. Its in a good position for shopping etc. breakfast was inc and was of fair to good quality, however some items did lack flavour. All staff were very polite.

Had stayed at many hotels with no lift so my mother in law was pleased to have one at your hotel. Had a nice meal with friends downstairs.   Skene Suites Holburn far exceeded our expectations. We had booked a 3 bedroom suite as we were grandparents and parents with 2 year old and 4 month old baby. I cannot speak highly enough of the suite we had- masses of space, lovely lounge , excellent and well equipped kitchen . very large bedrooms - in fact perfect for our needs.
