The friendly service & accommodating attitude of Ibrahim, his wife Natalie, Gukhan & the staff in general are 2nd to none. Restaurants, beaches & trip recommendations are granted with a smile. Hotel is perfectly located for all amenities & a walking distance to the Marina. Everything was spotlessly clean & furniture was practically new. Equipped with a coffee/tea maker & a fridge. all reviews » Everything was wonderful. The room was comfortable with cool air conditioning. The staff was efficient, especially Ibraham. We arranged a van and driver from Dalaman airport and were greeted at the street when we arrived at the hotel. Our baggage was unloaded and taken to our rooms. We were given the rooms that we requested- first floor with balcony. Ibraham drove us to the port in the morning. We were only here for the night to catch the ferry to Rhodes in the morning. However, it was. We stayed at the Hotel Dost for 14 nights Bed and Breakfast basis during April 2013. The Dost is the perfect place to stay in Marmaris it is clean and comfortable, hot water 24 hours a day and the staff are excellent. It is only 2 minutes walk to the beach and only a short walk to the Bazar, Harbour and beach bars. The owners Ibrahim and Natalie are fantastic and very attentive ensuring that you have a good stay at their family run Hotel. We will definately stay there again and highly reccomend. I travel alone alot and always opt for 5* hotel/resorts where everything is convenient and I am also very comfort-conscious. The Hotel Dost did not dissappoint this discerning (fussy :)) traveller in any way. Great location, everything you could want within walking distance, really lovely rooms... I booked a suite and my entire 5-night stay cost less than one night at my usual hotels. If returning to the same hotel within 2 weeks of checking out isn't recommendation enough, I don't know what i. Great location, very nice large clean comfortable room, very nice brekky. We would highly recommend this hotel - we had a room with balcony facing the street, which we requested. We enjoyed using the balcony but it was a bit noisy at night with the traffic which we didn't really trouble us. We would like to thank Ibrahim and his staff for being very obliging and friendly. Great city with lots of shops and restaurants and the water/light show at 9.00 every night is a must see. We stayed at Dost for 4 nights, family of five in 2 bedrom apartment. This is a very nice hotel in good location but the best thing is the owner Ibrahim and his famely. They are extremely kind and does anything for you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They help us in many way and is always there for you. We all loved our stay and we will stay at Dost if we visit Marmaris, that is guaranteed. Mr. Ibrahim the owner was a real gentleman. He took us and my mother who has difficulties walking all the way to the harbour in his car. The room was spacious and very clean. Our host picked us up from the docks at the conclusion of our gulet ride, offered to take us to the ferry docks to catch our ferry to Rhodes, laundry for a small fee and some other small favors. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was outstanding with plenty on offer. Warm and welcoming hotel,spoke excellent English the breakfast was surprising good with a wide range of things to choose fom including "fried eggs". The pool is located across the road which is a decent size. Can not say too much about his hotel I was really excellent value for money. We stayed in top floor apartment with private balcony and found it very clean and spacious with air-conditioning in all 3 rooms. Parking is available right at the back of the hotel. We definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Marmaris. The staff at the hotel were really nice & friendly. Everything was spotlessly clean. In all cases, these are details cause in general Dost is seriously good. There was no negative points about the Hotel Dost we had a great time. If arriving by car please do not park in front of the hotel as the parking officer is ready to 'pounce' on any car practically as soon as you park to check in. There is parking available at the back of the hotel and Ibrahim will very quickly point you in the right direction. Nothing in the hotel was negative. The only thing we were disappointed about was Marmaris itself (what a hollow commercial blabla circus !) 25 years ago it was still very charming but they've ruined it !. Breakfast only - they should add more variety and better quality of food to the breakfast menu! I only enjoyed the fresh and home made cakes and cookies. Nothing all pluses. We loved everything in the hotel and couldn't find anything wrong. Nothing. Although it is close to restaurants it would be handy to have an evening meal there. Having said that one could always book a unit rather than a room. Nothing. for those who have sensitive sleeping, abandoned room on the street side. A bit more variety for breakfast would be appreciated, although it was Turkish style. Loud music at night from nearby club. Obviously not the hotel's fault though. Everything was very good except that there is no lift and I was in the 4 th floor. Very cosy rooms: very clean and very modern...but very cosy!. family apartment was 4 flights of stairs - although staff carried big bags up for us batteries were flat in the remotes for all the air conditioners. Room was small and mattress was firm but good for the money. Bathroom needed repair, shower leaked. We loved our stay. Could be very noisy in the afternoon and early evening. Not much. Shower curtain kept falling off while showering. poor breakfast, small rooms, no elevator. Based on room charges it is hard to complain it was good value for money.
