This is one of the best hotels i have stayed at. Arrived very early and the staff allowed early checkin. The reception staff was very very helpful and attentive. The room was spotless, one of the cleanest hotels i have stayed at. Like all hotels the mini bar and room service was alittle expensive but overall it was a great stay. I would be staying at Karaca again when i go to Izmir. I would like to thank all the staff for being so helpful and going out of their way to make my stay a very comfor.
all reviews » the location is marbelous! Close to everything, the bazar,the coast,shops, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. they didnt send the van to pick us up at the airport ,but the cost of the taxi was reinbersed.Also they gave us a smoking room against our solicitacion.Then we were moved to an upgraded non smoking room . They make mistakes but they have the will to fix them inmediately. The staff and the location were fantastic. The location is in the heart of Izmir and very close to the restaurants etc. It felt very safe walking to and from in the middle of the night. The staff were extremely friendly. They answered all our questions and even helped me get a dress repaired, by walking me to the seamstress. Really felt looked after. Location, view from the balcony, breakfast. Almost everything is well thought, for example, they divide the floors for smoking and non-smoking or another example they put very small towels in addition to usual set and it I not final list of such details. Location is great, the staff is always smiling, very clean, the bed is one of the best ever, the free of charge shuttle service from/to the airport is very comfortable an many more "plus". The personal were very friendly and ready to help. Karaca otel provides a free shuttle bus service from and to the airport. Moreover the place is strategic. extremely helpfull and friendly staff, best Hotel I stayed in in many years of travelling.........you feel at home all the time, great breakfast too!. Though it was my mistake that I did not ask lowest pillow - they wrote about such possibility. The internet connection was very poor. It disconnected all the time (it is infrastructure and not a local problem, since other nearby hotels didnot have the same issue). The internet was not very reliable or fast. That was my only complaint about the hotel. nothing. Nothing. No complaints! Second time I stayed there...happy again. The internet connection was frustratingly slow and sometimes non- existent. Hotel furniture is showing signs of age - otherwise all great!. Everything was perfect. rooms could do with a refit. It was raining when I stayed. I have to come back. Evething was well. No real coffee ! but not a big deal indeed!. Nothing. Its a perfect hotel, great location, breakfast, facilities,stuff, but they must be obsessed with money, cause they engaged twice the accomodation fees from my credit card. Once as they said as guarantee and the second time is real charge. The result is that I still expect my money back to my card. Money is good, obsession is bad.
