The hotel is conveniently located at a close approximate to Istiklal Street /Taksim, Galata Tower, bars & clubs where there is a live music and filled with people with a good attitude. Although it's the simplest hotel I've stayed thus far, the staff always had smiles on their faces. As a solo female traveller I've made lots of friends in and about the hotel. Budget-friendly hotel run with nice people at a great location.
all reviews » The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. Any request I had they were able to assist with a smile. The hotel has an elevator which was great for my elderly mother. It is located on a quaint street with delicious restaurants and close to shopping on Istekial Caddesi. The hotel was clean and staff members were very helpful, nice and could speak proper English. The hotel's location is excellent just few minutes walk from Istiklal Road and overlooking a number of nice restaurants and cafes and bars. Place is very good, close to the main shopping street, at weekends a bit noisy, but it is only before midnight. Staff is helpful, we didn't get booked room in the first night because of system tricks, but everything was solved. Very good staff,welcoming,helpful and ready to help all the time. Good locationand close to public transport. Good value for money. Izzet and staff r very great people.Very freindly staff and always smiling. I guess they don't know about u bends - fine if you put cling film or a container over the shower and basin outlets!. There si some noise as many restaurants around. Earplugs and problem is solved. Too simple breakfast, menu is always the same. Not so good shower and window view but it is okay, if you want to stay here for few days. my single room didn't have any view on the street. Shower, small room but for one well. Small room and very poor lighting and poor bath room facilities. The bedroom lighting was depressing not even good enough to read by. single room in the back no view , can not open the window because no protection screen in any of window to avoid rats or mosquto .and over view looking in the fire stair .and drinking stranger seatting by the fiar stair every evening making noise . its over price for A budget hotel, compare to the other same hotels in the area . room bit smelly of damp i think but I was happy with it considering the price. The size of the room is smaller than to be comfort. rooms can be better in everyway. Had to ask for room to be cleaned. The bed, showering into toilet, noisy. Hotel rooms are so small and tiny, its not same as shown in picks. In this price you can get much more better options. small box-like pathetic room, under size bed. smelly leaky bath, only one A3 size mirror . no chair to sit no bench for box, no table to unpack, one small light socket working room too dark. Terrible shower Everything in bathroom old and dirty Furnitury old and dirty also No heating in November!!!!. Breakfast is very poor system.and bathroom is totally masse and bed room is also masse just show tv only one channel for his language.really my comments very bad but staff is fair.The place was filled with roaches. The walls were crumbling due to mold and moisture and to mask the smell they had moth balls in the sink . The carpets were filthy and if you decided to walk barefoot your feet got black. The pictures on the internet were completely misleading. There was no value and two doors down was an impeccable hotel for less. Breakfast service was not a buffet. The electricity kept shutting off. 13" TV never worked. This was the worst hotel experience ever. .
