Hotel is located in old part of Istanbul where all streets are full of wholesale shops and street sellers and you can feel real Istanbul among those people. It's position is very good, it's really close(walking distance, although hotel is also near tramway station) from Grand Bazar, Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Topkapi Saray. Personel in hotel is kind and helpful but one guy was really really nice, it was a pleasure knowing and talking with him for those few days, he was very helpful to us. His n.
all reviews » We had the King Suite room and it was really really nice. You have a nice view. You can see the sea from your bed. Rooms are very clean. Staff very friendly and helpfull, especially Murat from the reception. Location of the hotel is very good: walking distance from the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazar and Spice Bazar. And the hotel is sorounded by shops. Overall, the hotel is very good value for the money. I recomend it. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help with anything we needed! We were lucky enough to get an upgrade and the room was amazing! Very spacious and much more than we expected!! Everything was clean and the location was very easy to get to all the big attractions from either by walking or by tram. The tram stop is two mins walk from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied (milk, coffee, tea, all kinds of cheese and bread, many salads ...). The location is also ideal to visit nearby sites : 5 minutes on foot to the tram station, or 15 minutes to the Grand Bazar. There are a lot of small convenience stores in the neighborhood as well as many restaurants. The hotel is situated not far from the city center. Everyone was so friendly and they really tried to help you when you needed help. Def recommend this place to anyone. When we arrived we were given a free upgrade to the King Suite. The room was fantastic - even have a radio in the shower. The staff were good and nothing is far away on the efficient tram system in Istanbul. People are a little annoying but not violent. -. There are some steps that lead to the hotel entrance, but not that many, and the staff are very happy to help with any luggage. Be careful when booking - there are two Q-Inn's in Istanbul. We wanted to book the other one as that is where our tour ended. Everything was fine really. Only small problem is that one tiny part of the building has no access to wi fi but it works very fine in the lobby+ there is a PC there. - air conditioning was not working well - almost 1000 TV channels, but ONLY in Turkish and Arabic. Room was a bit small. the breakfast selection on offer was limited and only had instant coffee ) :. that they didn't let anybody from my visitors go to my room. Nothing. This room hasn`t balcon. breakfast. nothing. The aircondition was not working and the temperature outside and inside was same. The capacity of the ac was too small for the room we got (double bed) Hotel manager was not able to help us but we had to stay with the window open for fresh air. The undercounter refrigerator was not working properly and had to have a warm beer. The day temperature was 32deg and it was summer in Istanbul. The hotel entrance was on height and had to climb the stairs with luggage to the receiption area. The hallways and stairways operate on a "motion light" not a safe feeling if travelling alone. There were no restaurants in the area and the staff seemed limited on explaining where one could go to eat/drink. Room not very comfortable and bathroom was not very clean. Breakfast was just okay. Wi-Fi not very reliable. As located in commercial area, outside is always noisy. The staff didn't reply to either of the emails that I sent in advance of arrival. Also, the location is a little further to the Sultanahmet attractions than it first appeared. The hotel is still in a good location, but in fact is much nearer to Aksaray. overpriced hotel (normal price for double room is €130, we only paid €40 via booking), rooms are very small. Noisy! At night it was very noisy with trucks unloading trash containers for at least 6 hrs. On the 7th floor the noise from the 8th floor restaurant was a problem in the morning. Staff not seak english. The drapes in the room didn't cover the window so street light came in - the lights in the ceiling kept blinking and when the staff was told they looked at me like I had 2 heads - Transportation to the airport, depending on you arranged it, the cost was different .... If I had not pre paid I would have checked out into another hotel. Everything. Poor treatment providing personnel ... guests do not cost the same.
