A lot of thanks to staff!!! a lot, a lot!!! You helped me so much! I really recommend this hostel. Excellent location in the centre of the city. Cheap price for a single tourist. No noise. People write they wake up because of prayers in the early mornings. I slept and heard nothing (I closed the window)! Reception 24 hours (I arrive at 6.30am and could have a bath and breakfast). Good Internet. But you need to know it is really simple rooms!!!.
all reviews » I stayed for two nights and was on my own. The room was very small, about 2x2m2 but I didn't need it to be bigger. All I wanted was a place to sleep at night and leave my luggage during the day. There was a double bed in the room, with a very comfortable, hard mattress, a sink, a mirror and a TV. There was also very good wi-fi. It was quiet and clean. Centrally located, super cheap, friendly receptionist. Perfect for me. The location and hotel was excellent if you want to come to sleep at night after the days tours at Istanbul The location is excellent with shops in front serving past midnight and the only shop serving fruits Lively and helpful staff. A pantry is available with self service for tea and cooking baby meals. Highly recommended for families with children. Reception Met us at 2:30am, carried our bags up to the room, and said have a good night. They didn't bother with check in or anything else. They knew who we were and didn't bother us in the least. This place is so close to everything as well. If you're looking for a budget place that is in the middle of everything, this is the place. I pretty much like everything which is why I usually stay there when visiting friends. They have a good check-in time (noon) and check-out time (11:00). The location is in a safe area and in a central location. The cancellation timeline is generous and I pay when I check out. I recommend it! If you want a cheap accommodation in the heart of historical center of Istanbul, Erenler is good. But dont expect any luxury, nor comfortable beds. The hostel owns basic facilities, the room is quite small but clean. Location is good which is not far from blue mosque and the harbour. The hostel is one of the airport shuttle bus point. There is only one shower and two toilets for the whole floor. I did not have to wait to use any of those but I don't know what it's like when the hostel is full. The rooms were small and shared bathroom presents some difficulty with children. but the bathrooms were generally clean and easily available. Everything was peachy. My room was warm but the hallways and other areas were noticeably cold, but this is only mildly annoying for the people who don't have a room with a toilet and shower. I can understand how it might be crowded if the dorm room was full and there are only two showers so that could result in a wait but I had no problems during my stay as there were not too many people there. The room quite small. Light Switch outside the room took a bit of getting used to ...haha. you had to switch the lights off from outside the room. The lounging area was a bit sparse and not that great for socialising. Limited number of bathrooms for the people who stayed in the dorm. Had to queue to shower at night. Every day the room we had smelled tabaco. Probably something to do with the garage outside of the building. Nothing the owner could do. Bit old construction, but doesnt matter much. Toilet was not clean and smelly. The wifi was mostly unusable due to misconfiguration. Bathroom could be improved. No English movie channels on tv verybadnas stayed there 10 days. When I got back to hostel in my second night, I noticed that they changed my mixed room without even asking or notifying me to a male dorm. Bathroom is very uncomfortable and has a fixed shower head. Light switches are outside of the room. Some doors don't lock properly. Hostel doesn't look clean at all. Sometimes the staff were cool. The lobby is small. Bathroom is full of mold and smells like urine...had to keep the door closed. Facility is a bit shabby and rundown, like an old YMCA. Staff can sometimes be hard to locate. My VISA card also did not work on their electronic device, so I had to pay in cash. WC smelt intense. No curtains i shower room so it was necessary to clean it for water. The room is small and the surrounding is quite noisy even at night. Room is very small, just a bed and a wardrobe (though it's ok for the price, we paid). We staid for 5 nights, and there was no cleaning and no change of towels / bed sheets all this time. Don't take private transfer, offered by hotel! Price is much higher, than normal taxi in the city. And we got shuttle bus instead of private car (by mistake of the hotel) and still had to pay 33 eur instead of 5 eur (real price for shuttle bus) for it!.
