We stayed in the hotel for 10 nights in rooms 24 and 25, The location is one of the main factors to make this hotel very successful, it is almost 3 minutes walking to Taksim square and 5 minutes to the metro station. The most important factor to make Entes Hotel Apart successful is Mr. Göksel who didn't miss any chance to provide his help and support, he was always ready to do extra mile to make sure that we are happy and comfortable, for example: He provided us an early check in at 7:30 AM whi.
all reviews » Location - there's probably no better location in the new part of Istanbul. The hotel is literally 3 minutes talk from Taksim square, which is where all transportation go through. It is 1 minute walk from the awesome Istiklal street - which is full of shops, restaurants and clubs. But! It's located in a small street near it, so there's no noise coming in. There's a great and cheap restaurant right next to the hotel, and small store at on the corner of the Hotel's street where you can get Water,. the staff was really amazing, very kind and helpful, super nice and friendly. room was spacious and clean. The Manager was really kind and helpful. Best location ever, i actually tried many times to stay in Entes apart but wasnt lucky, this time after my stay i said this will be my home in Istanbul :) as i am a frequent visitor to Istanbul. you feel like you are home. Spacious, clean, simply furnished. Easy to check in and out as Entes has a reception unlike many apartments. Great location just a short distance from Taksim and the Istiklal Caddesi but for its location it is quiet. The hotel staff were generally helpful and friendly. We wished to have a safe box in the room, Door lock or a chain lock and a microwave. That I was on a business trip. I wish I had the time to enjoy the city more :). The room was not service during the 5 days I was there. Could have done with fresh towels in that time. 1- Room was hot although we were in winter and the heater was closed. 2- Assistants for the hotel manager can not understand english/arabic however they tried to do their best. 3- 5th floor single room is not suitable for old people cause they have to take few stair steps to reach the room. I was just expecting more appliances at the appartment like an iron (although they have provided one later for us), a microwave and a bigger TV. But it was good anyway. N/A. Cleaning staff forgot some spots.. A bit noisy some nights. The hotel staff were unable to communicate in English, which sometimes was a bit of a nuisance. The apartment was actually quite noisy, you could hear loud sounds and speech from neighbouring units. Last but not least: the apartment smelled quite strongly after cigarette smoke (but to be fair: I already expected this, as there are no non-smoking apartments at Entes).
