Emine Sultan exceeded our expectations from the hospitality and beyond. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs, even upon missing the flight causing a delayed arrival. We were upgraded to a wonderfully comfortable suite as one was available. The mgr. Chagri was great, as was Dohan, but Summeye became part of our family. She went out of her way to assist us with tour planning and even internal transport reservations. We cannot say enough about how fabulous the entire staff was durin.
all reviews » The staff were really friendly and helpful. They provided us with a scheme of the city and all the necessary instructions about working days of museums and other places of interest. The breakfast was good. It was served on a terrace with a view to the Bosphorus. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Though the hotel is close to the main tourist attractions it was quit at night. Our flight was delayed and we were offered a shower. That was really nice of them and helped us recover after a day of wa. We stayed for 7 nights, location is excellent, very close to Sultanahmet mosque and Hagia Sophia, Topkapi palace, etc. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is excellent, with scrambled eggs, lot of home made pie, cheese, sweets and marmelade. We heard some noise and voices comming from outside during our staying, but it was not annoying and you`ll get use to it. It is Istanbul after all :) Staff is very helpful, professional, speaking english very good.Price is acceptable. We recomend this hot. I liked the clean and comfortable room, despite it was a little bit cold everything was ok. Hotel located in a silent place far away from tramvay station so that worked for me as you can sleep well without any noises during the night. My room was in a suite which were a 5-7 min awa from the main building but it was ok to walk in the morning :).Breakfast was great with a perfect view to the Marmara sea. Thanks to Dogan at reception as he was so kind to help with any requests.Hope to visit this h. The room was very comfortable with a cozy bed and linens and plenty of pillows. The breakfast was extensive and very delicious. The staff was helpful and courteous. We got an upgrade to the suite located near the main building. It was fantastic. The bed was quite something. Breakfast was the best i had in Turkey - so many jams to pick from. Unfortunately we arrived during an unseasonally cold time and the air conditioning/climate control was not working for several days. A bit more noise proofing around the doors as you can hear guests walking up / down the stairs. Being sent to annexe. Room terribly arabic goth. Not told about key opening of front door so locked out. Seven minute walk to breakfast. No one around when i checked out. Stressful. The bathroom need to be renewed. The room was on a smallish side. What was supposed to be a double bed was in fact just two beds put together. Although the hotel was really ok, it lacked any individual charm. Room is a little bit small. had problem with wifi for a couple of days ,but they have a computer in the lobby. Breakfast is there, no doubt. We were there for 3 days & all the 3 mornings it was the same.. Would have preferred a change, else all good. Noise from other guests. Hotel's location on google maps is not correct. Had no chance to attend breakfast there because left early to an airport. Laundry charges were a bit steep. The suite rooms were in another building 5 minutes away from the hotel. Also, the sliding shower tube doors were not connected to the sliders. noisy area, hard to sleep. the "suite" is just one big room. - small rooms. Room a bit small. Lift quite old. Small bathroom. Would like a bar area. There is nothing to complain about. The room is quite small. The air conditioner is not as sufficient as the radiators. free mini bar is for two days only after that the didn't put the coffee and tee, and the room is too small. but no problem will the accommodation is for night only.
