Gultekin is a nice little place. The staff are very casual and nice, though they don't speak English very well, they know enough to be helpful. The shower was great, nice and hot with tons of water pressure. Breakfast was really good, a nice and pretty large buffet on the terrace with views over Goreme. If you are up by 8, you can see the hot air balloons floating over the city. The hotel is right in the middle of Goreme, which is convenient to the restaurants and shopping along the main street.
all reviews » staff is super friendly. Since I was arrive in the early morning they offer me the breakfast before even checkin. then offer the room for me to sleep before my room was ready. They did have barbecue party almost everyday which is amazing and help to get to know people in the same hotel. Location was great, sit right at the middle of city and almost the highest spot, so you can see 360 agree from the terrace. I really enjoyed my stay at Gultekin. The management was very welcoming and provided excellent breakfast and services. The terrace is a beautiful place to relax. The location is perfect, in town but not noisy. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are newly renovated. All together it was a great place (especially to relax in the AC during the afternoon hours!) I hope I get to come again. Nice little hotel in the center of Göreme with the great view from both the room window and the terrace (where the reception is located and the breakfast is served). Good wi-fi. Buffet breakfast is simple but just enough to be a good start of the day. And, last but not least, we had an excellent sleep there—not sure if it's thanks to the hotel or just thanks to the Göreme air. The staff is friendly, especially the receptionist named Fatih, he was kind and gave us many tips about Cappadocia. I would definitely recommend the motel to friends and family! Goreme is truly an out of the world place to visit, with beautiful sights, mystical valleys and friendly people. It is located very convenient place so that we could come and out frequently as we need. Staffs are friendly, and delicious breakfast. Also room is clean and cosy. Staff was very helpful, and gave us all the information we needed to organise our tour from Goreme. It is stone, but is not a cave! Not sure how I made that mistake. Still glad to have stayed here. One weird thing is the shower is not separated in the bathroom, it is one of those all-in-one bathrooms. We had to take out the toilet paper and other items to shower. Internet connection in the room is weak. you can only use at the terrace. Perfect for travellers. A telephone in the room would have been helpful Reception is located on the roof top which at times was inconvinient. Everything was perfect!. The mosque,which is very close starts calling to prayers at 4.50am, but you do get used to it. Nothing special. TV did not work in room. Nothing. I have not something bad to say.. The rooms were quite small (compared with other cities we went, at about the same rate). One of a room that our friends stay, it has a small hole closed to ceiling and cats can get in. Cats came in both when we were in and were not in. One of the cats pulled down our friends' luggages and ate the sweets inside. We told the staffs but they could not do better than changing a new blanket. But at night, cats came in again while our friends were sleeping. One of staff is the worstest i have ever met. He tried to get more money, 2 times lies to us. And he never said sorry.
