Our room faced the waterfront (definitely ask for a room on the front) and was very clean and comfortable although the bathroom was a little small. But for a couple of nights this is no big deal.   This is the most welcoming, helpful, hotel that we have ever, in 37 years of travelling together, stayed in. They could not have done more to make us feel welcome, from giving us a cup of beautifully served Turkish coffee on arrival, to parking our car for us in a busy port city, to answering all our questions and giving us great advice. The restaurant, where we ended up eating most of the time had excellent food- modern Mediterranean style menu and very fresh. The waiting staff in the restaurant were young, super efficient and funny. They felt like family by the time we left. We have stayed at glitzier hotels in Turkey ( and some poorer ones too) but this hotel we have voted the best.

  absolutely perfect :) all new and cleen. the staf very friendly and helpful. we was in need of babycot and coze thay didn't have it thay gave us one more room in the same money coze we was 4 adults and 2 kids - we pay for a room for 4 adults and thay gave us another room with big bed only coze thay didn't had the babycot. very close to the feribo... what people say » t - They moved us to the Egem hotel because they had a group of young kids at the pension, and they were affraid that it would be noisy :) The reception guy was very friendly and spoke very well english. We arrived via coach from Canakkale which let us off at the ferry port, maybe 200 meters from the hotel. Major advantage they have a tour organiser Hassle Free inside the hostel which I used for a day trip to Gallipoli which I really enjoyed. - The location is good, in the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. The showers and toilets were clean enough and pretty standard for a hostel.

  The staff were very helpful. It was the best location for us as we were next to the Ferry but still close enough to restaurants. - The staff in the resturant/bar were fantstic and very helpful, Aysha (dark hair/glasses) in particular. Great gin and tonics.
