I have stayed at Villa Verde for 9 days and I still have no clue when they all passed. I have picked the hotel after a long search and I cant be happier with my choice. It is perfectly located in the center of old town, easy access but, even if I knew Antalya and how to get to town from the airport I have hired a round trip transfer with the hotel. Very good value! No hustle and bustle with heavy suitcases, no wandering around the Old town at a late hour looking for the hotel. As everyone state.
all reviews » We had notified the hotel that we would arrive sometime after 11pm yet with plane delays we arrived at 1am. Despite the delays we were met with a smile and they kept reception open specifically for us. The room and the hotel were clean, had all the services required and was located in a beautiful spot next to some local ruins. The hospitality of the staff was awesome for our whole stay as they provided us with excellent information regarding the area and always did so with a smile. The Pre pai. The owners/staff were amazing and treated us like family. Their breakfast was the best we had during our travels through Turkey - with some fresh-baked goods etc. You can tell they care. The location was amazing, right in Old Town and just a short walk down to the coast line. Easy transportation to the museum, nearby beach etc. The villa is right across the street from some protected ruins - very nice and quaint. The grounds were immaculate and well maintained. Tons of restaurants nearby, all w. This is a small pretty hotel and it felt so good in the morning enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the terrace with the garden on one side and the ancient ruins on the other. Ali is a charming and delightful owner and gave us every assistance and even arranged a packed breakfast for our early departure. The hotel is in a pleasant location and a is just a short stroll down to the nearby park and marina. Great value for the money. I liked the ambience, excellent location and care taken during our trip. Our host, Mr Ali went out of his way to make us feel so comfortable and at home and helped us in every way possible. We had a fabulous stay , werw served with warmth n will stay here again whenever we visit Antalya. Villa Verde is home away from home. Location is what recommends this hotel the most. It is in the center of the old town which is filled with charm and takes you back a few centuries. The hosts were most gracious and the hotels was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was abundant and delicious! Wireless internet is free and works everywhere in the hotel. Staff and administration were very friendly, kind and ready to help in everything. Breakfast was very good and delicious. Beds and bathroom were clean and neat. Location is very good - close to the city center and shopping facilities. Especially we enjoyed the hospitality of the owners. Hotel is well located in the heart of Kaleici old town. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Due to our late flight, they kindly waited for us until midnight to check in. They serve a superb breakfast on their beautiful patio. A truly memorable experience. Really everything. The room was clean, comfortable Anderson xcellent value. We've been in Turkey for the 2 weeks and this was the best breakfast we have had made all the better sitting outside. Great hotel all round. the hotel is constituted by tow parts, one is a yard and 6 rooms with the front desk, the other is a yard a few steps away. we live in the one with the front desk. the yard is perfect and big enough, just near the ruins. the breakfast is perfect and served by individuals. room is well decorated. wifi works well. Good breakfast and location !!. Only breakfast is good. The water pressure is a tad weak and there's no kettle in the room. No drinkable water in the room. That is a courtesy I would expect. This is the only hotel I stayed at that didn't provide at least a small bottle per guest. It is located at the central area and historical center of the city, so it is a bit of noisy. There are too many tourist groups are visiting the nearby area. Closeness to the mosque is another drawback so be ready to wake up at 5 in the morning-too loud sound from the mosque. Also the location of the hotel is a bit complicated so it would be better to print the map beforehand. Nothing. Room is small, but all weare doing is sleeping here so it is fine. A few little bits of maintenance could do with attention. A slight smellin the bathroom, but this went away after running the water for a while. There was absolutely nothing I didn't like!!. Nothing. Really nothing. If I have to suggest something it would be to fix up the garden a bit to make it even more user-friendly: a few more comfortable lunge chairs etc. bathroom pipe odour. wait for hot water when taking shower. bathroom smells - very disturbing. room is very noisy due to central location. same problem with parking, narrow streets, but these are necessary disadvantages of the location. wet way from room to lounge by rain. When we checked in and were shown to our room, we were not told that there was an air conditioner and we were not shown directions for controlling the room climate until the second day of our stay. Bit of noise at night from surrounding streets - but this was at weekend. rooms were a bit sparse for our taste. nothing. Just one thing with shower — not really good stream of water. If I had to say anything in this area...it was a little hard to find... the room near the street is noisy in the night, although it has a good window view. the hot water in bath is very hard to control, and very tiny. it's a difficult thing to take a shower in this hotel. Don't take the gardynera room, it smelt like mold. Take a time to have hot water. The lady owner was rude to us, and didn't even bother to look at us when we try to greet her, maybe she doesn't like Chinese. The room looks old especially the toilet. The staff at night was ok though.
