Having travelled all around Thailand for the last 15 years I had noticed the Ayara on the hill but only in passing during stays at other resorts. The resort manages to provide the excellent Thai service to a very high standard, without being to formal. We misplaced a wallet containing over £1500 in various currencies and my driving licence. We thought we had left it in our room but could not be sure as we had used it earlier to hire a car. The hotel had not found it but undertook a thorough se.
all reviews » Brilliant stay. Hotel & spa is proper 5 star, staff are very freindly and helpful. Rooms are great wih fantastic views. Breakfast included up to 10:15 and was really good. The hotel is a 5-10 min walk to the beach strip, and the hotel came with free membership access to the 2 best beach clubs on the beach strip (catch beach club and bimi beach club). Free buggy service from the room to the reception or down on to the beach and back. Hotel has free wifi as do the 2 beach clubs. Rooms were cl. The hotel is nature and luxury atmosphere. The view was great from the balcony. The room was so nice. There are two shower rooms. One is outside and inside. Also there is a Jacuzzi in balcony. But tap water has just cold water in it. Stuffs are really kindly. Breakfast is insatiable because menu are change everyday. Taste is excellent. The place is far from paton beach. But Surin beach is near from hotel. We take a buggy everytime. Surin beach is calm and peaceful. I could take it easy on the b. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We booked the junior suite and the room was fantastic, very big with an outdoor jacuzzi and separate outdoor bath. The hotel offers excellent facilites and it's in close walking distance to surin beach where there is lots of good cafes and restaurants. We used the free passes to the beach club which was excellent too - very high end facilities. Very friendly efficient staff and the accommodation is spacious,well designed and extremely comfortable. Food is well worth it in terms of choice and quality, plus the buffet breakfast is a very pleasant start to the day. The location behind Surin Beach offers some lovely views. The beach itself is easy to access with a good selection of amenities in a relaxed atmosphere. Surin beach which is a private beach that we as ayara hilltops guests could enter for free. The beach is very clean with a few people. The room is big with jacuzzi, big bathtub and outdoor shower. Toileteries smelled very nice (spa type I suppose). Sea salt given for scrub. Staff were very welcoming. Loved the staff very helpful and caring soon has i arrived . The location is perfect and the style of the rooms are amazing . The breakfast was the best selection ive ever had . Really cant fault this hotel keep up the good work and ill be staying with you soon thank you for a wonderful experiance !. I expectated more comfortable thing. Also there are sands on the flooring. We booked the seafood bbq dinner on the first night, which was very overpriced (over 3000 baht between us) and a lot of the food was cold because it had been pre-cooked. The coastal road can create some noise but that is a minor distraction to what is a first class hotel experience. Ants infested our toilet for a night which was a shock - but this was attended to immediately. We loved Thai food and even wishes that if we can have some at breakfast. The rest.....not much since renting a car is the best way to move around freely. not this hotel problem. I dont like the expensive taxi in Phuket at all. Beach club offered by hotel is poor compered with some other on Surin beach. Nothing. They should create a better atmosphere around the pool and bar area for quests. Nice pool but no atmosphere. It has potential but isn't used. A little lazy. Too many steps.
