Friendly staff, always available to help, even arranged facials in our room! Clean, comfortable room. Good location. Away from touristic areas but close enough to bike around. Local food nearby. Markets in the morning. A REAL Thai experience. Lovely x. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. They were able to help with taxis and renting scooters, etc. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

It was good value for money at the discount price I got it for. Very nice family run hotel... Or actually, Residence. This is not a hotel per se, it does not have a restaurant and all the usual facilities, yet it's absolutely nice. The room is very spacious and clean, comfortable and with a big bed (I was in 506 if I'm not mistaken). Staff tries to help, even if their English is not top notch, but who cares. And yes, position is crap, but you wouldn't book this place if it wasn't to spend a night and then take the ferry to Phi Phi the morning after, so it's. Nice, clean room for the price. The room was good and the bed also. not expensive. Leave the hotel. Leaving. It is a little far from the good beaches, not a problem if you rent scooters though (you should rent scooters). No tea or coffee making facilities. There is another Rattana hotel (Rattana Mansion) in Phuket town, so it's easy to confuse. Seems like nobody in the town knows where exactly Rattana Residence is located. It's not IN the town, but nearby. Beaches and social life are far away. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Phuket island for young ppl anyway (mostly russian-speaking families rest there), better go to Phi-Phi (from Krabi). Too many rats at the Patong and Karon beaches (and area itself). Helpless staff at reception Location. I felt the staff could have made more of an effort to be pleasant. They just seemed a little uninterested. It's a little far away from the bus station and the main centre of town if easy access to those is important. Position is not the top, but to be honest Phuket Town in general does not offer much, so you can't hold it against the hotel owners really. Staff were very unhelpful. Standard of english was poor and we got the impression they were not making much effort to understand or help with our queries. Location not great, there was nowhere decent to eat nearby and it's miles from the beaches. Not really close to anything. Poor location far from anything and seems like an unpleasant area. Middle of nowhere not near the phuket town near to tourist attraction. Too far from the city. bathroom not clean,noise from other rooms, no cofee available except the americano or it's right in the room that they have capuccino,latte...the location is very bad, far from everything! We've had a standard double, maybe the biggest rooms are better. Staf doesn't speak english at all, last night a taxi driver asked us 15 euros for 2 km trip and the reception girl gave to him all my references to force me pay, no privacy no respect no help, don't go there. Angry boy on checkout forced me to pay him 500 baht for a cab to Kamala which is approx 200 metres away that I didn't even use. My phone went walkabout too. Location Building.
