Located on a tranquil spot on beautiful Pak Nam Beach, Phi Phi Relax Resort offers simple bungalows up on the hillside and steps from excellent snorkelling spots. Surrounded by tropical gardens, they all have private balconies with views out to sea or the tropical landscape. Phi Phi Relax Resort is a 25-minute boat ride from the main pier in Ton Sai Bay. Boat transfers from Tonsai Pier to the resort are available 4 times a day at an extra charge. Conveniently situated between Ran Ti Bay and Lo Bao Kao Bay, the resort offers a variety of island tours and excursions. Bungalows are simply furnished, featuring thatched roofs and bamboo walls. They have an en suite bathroom with a cold-water shower and offer views of the ocean or tropical landscape. Guests can enjoy snorkelling at the colourful reef, rent out a kayak or just relax in a deck chair or hammock looking out to the neighbouring islands. Pampering massages and fishing trips are also available. For more adventure, follow the trail up through the jungle to town. For convenience, the resort provides a restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They offer Thai and Western dishes, and refreshing cocktails and fruit juices at the Beach Bar. Both are set directly by the beach.

Lives up to its name! We found this little hideaway beach just the best place to stay in Phi Phi. If you want to stay out of the busy tonsai area then this is just the perfect place. The Relax Beach resort has traditional style bungalows on the beach and on the hill looking over the sea. The beach itself is lovely and in high tide you can swim without stepping on rocks. The bunglows themselves were nice with a comfortable bed and mosquito net. Electricity is provide only from 6pm- 6am which som.
all reviews » The whole resort was extremely picturesque. The orthentic bamboo and wooden bungalows, set within indigenous unspoilt forest,all have beautiful sea views. These were cleaned daily to a high standard. The staff, especially, made a huge impact on us. No request was too great, and they were always happy and smiling, with a willingness to please which went way beyond anything we had experienced. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, mainly Thai, which were all excellently prepared. There wa. This place rocks. If you don't like it, maybe you're in a bad mood. I've already recommended it to everybody I told about my trip and honestly it's the most 'paradise' place I've ever been, and i'm pretty sure the cheap, delicious food is designed to be eaten in the copious amounts that we did. Water was beautiful, fish swimming around your ankles and everybody is smiling. True holiday bliss, everybody is relaxed and totally chilled & happy. Ferri and the boys were awesome too, totally nice. The staff was very friendly - always with a smile - and the service was extraordinary. Furthermore the sweet receptionist helped us plan further journeys and tours. It is quiet, away from the noisy peer, with a private good snorkeling beach (when the tide is right), and it was exactly what we hoped for. We were very happy about our stay at phi phi relax and ended up extending our stay. They have our best recommendations - one could call it the real phi phi experience. The staff is great made me feel very nice despite being alone in a place where almost everyone else was in couples. Very relaxed atmosphere, great snorkelling on the private beach, excellent cuisine, the bungalows are really confortable and beautiful. But is a place to be away from Tonsai party crowd, if you want to be in the middle of everything, that's NOT your place. Really realy nice place! Almost paradise on earth. If you book this hotel pay a bit more to get a bungalow on the first line next to the beach. It will be worth of your money. You can only reach this place by boat and there is absolutely not much to do than relax and enjoy the beautifull view. There is one restaurant were they serve fantastic food!. Our hut was right on the beach and gave us a fantastic view of the sunrise each morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to get a massage on the beach in the evening which was very nice. The food was good and a bar is on site to serve drinks. The staff also did a fire dancing show while we were staying which was very cool. The peaceful surrounding, the simplicity of walking out and lazing about and truly relaxing on the beach especially in a hammock. The privacy. Very organised and welcoming. The meals and drinks were presented beautifully and were very inviting and well priced. The staff were very unique and charming. Friendly staff, delicious fresh home-made food, wonderful sea view... It's really very very beautiful place. Peaceful and calm. Calm sea without big waves is good to swim for small children. Location. It was situated in a quiet bay only accessible by a longtail boat, so it was wonderfully peaceful, very beautiful, sea was blue and snorkeling was excellent just of the beach. The easiest way to reach the resort was by boat which was a fun experience the first few times but did start to add up in costs if you had to get a taxi from the pier. There was construction of new bungalow. So there were lots of debris in he forest. They take 3% more if pay by credit card. Maybe there is nothing to do at night but I appreciated it because the place put you in relax mood and can read a nice book. In the room there is no cupboard. For long stays it is not comfortable since the clothes start stinking in the suitcase. You are a bit of a captured audience though. Not a real concern that you need to worry about. You have to accept that you are in a tropical setting, e.g. we found a scorpion in our bathroom, and some fish bite in the shallow sea. The top sea view rooms are really on the top of the hill, expect steep climbing. Next time we would rather go for beach bungallows instead. You must be ready to meet face to face wild animals as snacks and lizards, no hot water, no electricity all day!!! During the night your balcony will visit monkeys!. Long tail boat from tonsai pier costs 150 baht on check-in and check-out time. In my opinion this should be complimentary. Quite a rustic feel, if you don't like the outdoors, this isn't the place for you. No complaints from me!. There is noise and gasoline smell from the taxi boat all day. It is really bad! No hot water all day and no electricity in day time. There is a lot of musquito, you'd better to prepare sth to kill them in advance. In the evening, when electricity generators switched on - again strong gasoline smell. Passing by boats making noise even in evening and night. there no hot water no energy in teh day, at 7 am you have no more electricity far away from the town, but that is a good point. If you book on the island not from the resort you can get this free. Charging for everything including broken snorkeling gear. Very loud in first room because of being close to the staff rooms. You have to pay for the internet connection and it is very very slow. Person in the office, not very friendly, more worried about the prohibitions than to help you. You have to pay for the boat transfer, we arrivedmin the first boatmfrom Krabi, but we had to wait until one thrirty. Awful french owner, electricity limited availability, charged wifi. The biggest problem is the expensive taxi boat (400 thb) if you can' go with the shuttle. The first one is at 8.00, too late if you go diving... Taxi boat not include (150B per person one way). You have to take this to go on the hotel. No electricity on daylight (6am - 6pm). No hot water. Some bugs on the house. Wifi is not free. They added more bungalows so it is getting a bit 'large', I hope they will not add more, this is the maximum to still be okay and to preserve the robinson crusoe feeling. Also I hope they will not adapt too much their food to the europeans. The half day boattrip was too expensive. In line with the rest of Thailand, it is not always easy to communicate in English, even in touristic areas. Breakfast should be included in the price. They should tell us that you have to pay 20 bahts to get to the viewpoint before you walk 30 minutes through the jungle. No entertainment but maybe there is no need at all when such a good seaside?. Electricity between 6 PM till 6 AM (which is normal in an isolated island). bit costly for staying long time. anyway it's good to sleep hearing the tide. Cold shower and dead coral. No wifi. Nothing. lack of activities for young shildren. You have to travel by boat to get there which will cost you 150baht one way. The last trip is at 17h30, which means you can not experience the night life on Phi Phi Don. You only have electricity between 6pm and 6am and there is no hot water. Wifi is not free and food and bar is way over priced. Not much to do... The staff!! Not all of them, but the office staff gave a very cool welcome and were generally unfriendly, everywhere else we went wi fi was free, here there was a charge. Because it was so small, the unfriendliness really mattered, such a shame. Some of the staff could smile and chat. You can only get to the resort by taxi boat. Would've like that the taxi be included in the price . 150B to and from the ferry. Breakfast or wifi not included in price either Getting anywhere from the resort will cost you money.
