all reviews » The room was much nicer than expected - spacious, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and modern bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, although you had to walk to their sister hotel around the corner for it - but worth it. There's a surprisingly nice Irish pub almost opposite the hotel as well. Good value for money all round. Very warm cozy large and clean rooms. Breakfast s served at another hotel nearby, butba wonderful space and worth every penny for the 7 dollars. Personnel at the reception could be friendlier, but they were neverheless efficent and effective. The little electric car available to transfer clients closer to the center 24 hrs would be convenient for some people. This review is not for this hotel since we were moved to another along the road. It's part of the same chain but this was even better. Apparently our original rooms weren't ready so they upgraded us to the Suites. One group of friends had a two bed suite, I had a normal large room. All fantastic. Gym was good, pool was good etc. The room was very clean. The view was fantatstic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The in-room pc was fantastic for uploading pics and vids of my time there. Again the hotel staff especially Ms. Niu (It was my first time in Thailand and she advised me of were and not to go) were all very helpful and pleasant. Excellent,relaxing rooms with balcony. Five minutes walk to the madness, ten to the beach and 25 to the bus station (for the more adventurous). Safe area that is usually quiet although on occasion local bars like to turn up the volume.Sunday roast etc available at Jameson's just over the road.Recommended. From the first day we did feel welcome in that hotel thanks to lovely receptionist (forgot the name) and door man, all sorts of problems were solve immediately with smile. Jamesons Irish Bar next door had superb meals & drinks. Easy access to beach was only 5/7 minute walk. Location was good- Jamesons 100m away, good food, great staff and friendly. Close to 7-11 and motorbike taxi. Close enough to hustle and bustle but also far enough away!!. Stayed in this lovely hotel,, Friendly staff.. Some people will appreciate the quieter area away from the main centre, but we found it a little inconvenient. That my time there was too short. Getting around was a little daunting but, after a while not an issue really. I did not like water coming out from the shower cabin while taking shower. Otherwise all good. Nothing. The bell boy who got drunk n talking nonsense in the middle of the night. little far to walking street. A little inconvenient location. Breakfast/Restaurant facilities offsite. No real complaints apart from poor wifi reception in the hotel. I didn't have the breakfast but it would have necessitated walking to another building. too far from beach n walking street(need taxi service/rent motor). elavitor. Not very convenient to walk to the main street. not much sun in pool. Some of the staffs are not friendly. One of the hotel's staff has a really bed attitude. She insult us because of we lossing the tea spoon. The staff were not friendly and The light in the room's corridor was spoiled. We asked them to fix it and they did not during our 2 nights stay. The general service especially at Front Desk was not good. No one spoke English properly. Later than expected checkin into the room. The room maids were not trained well to behave with guests. Small room size. Very far from central. Lower floor really smells bad. The location is too bad. Also, there is ONLY one elevator and too small which let you wait more than 4 to 5 minutes to get in.
