We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel employees are very polite, kind and helpful. When we had a technical problem with the air condition, in about 2-3 hours, during we were out, the problem was fixed. It is a very comfortable hotel considering the location across the beach, shops near by, a very nice library at the ground floor and a gym. We like the location as it was beachfront. It was very close to Tiffany's show too, 15 min walking distance. Hotel also provided us daily free mineral water, fruit juice, singha beer, coke and milk. Remember to consume it everyday. There is a DVD player in our room, we can rent the DVD from the downstair library. It is amazing.
all reviews » The location of the Baboona is excellent it is across the road from the beach and at the quieter end of Beach Road with easy access to the rest of Pattaya by baht bus. The hotel is very clean with friendly helpful staff. Loved the amenities of the room with them having lcd tv and music system as well as free wifi. The staff are friendly and the breakfast are awesome! Many complimentary food and drinks. The F&B in the hotel cafe is not too expensive. Great place to have meal if you don't want to get trouble finding foods around the hotel. The most delicious breakfasts we've ever had. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, rooms are been cleaned perfectly, location is also perfect. I'd stay in this hotel again with my family and friends either. beach front view was excellent from the first floor. Appreciate the complimentary beverages on a daily basis. Stayed for 15 days but would have moved out after breakfast on the second day but I had already paid. The WiFi speed must be improved. The breakfast had less choices, you have to request for your ham, sausage, egg & bacon. The air con is not cold. Around six international calls to Sri Lanka was charged by mistake even though they were not answered.I lost around 400 baht. We consider this a rip off as we checked the bill when we came back to Sri Lanka. Taking payment upfront..why not just take copy of credit card and get guests to pay on checking out? Although reception staff are fairly helpful and friendly; smiling a bit more could create a better connection between guests and staff and compensate for language barrier. I don't mind if the reception staff's English aren't good, but friendly manners would be good. No swimming pool. There wasn't anything I didn't like. 1. Gruff and unfriendly staff. Unhelpful and indifferent. None. The air-conditioner is a little bit noisy. The air-condition is noisy. theres nothing i didnt like. If anything the water in the shower could be a little bit more hotter. There has some dust on the desk, it is not very good. The personnel does not speak good English and is hard to ask about directions or help. Some of the rooms have a view to another hotel. The tours offered are awful, especially the The Sea King tours - don't book them if you can choose. The rooms have small ants at night. The waiter at the Terrace cafe is rude. The restaurant area for breakfast was too small. None. breakfast odor. Nothing. No downside for me. we feel disapponted about this hotel. Staffs are not polite and not helpful, especially the receptionest. They are quite rude, never smile and useless. Air conditioner is so annoying. not clean , bad breakfast , no facilities. Found a curvy hair on the toilet when first use.... Soooooo ugly.... - staff at banquet / breakfast place really bad, not friendly at all...... also not even smile at once. cleaning. Young man in the restaurant was rude in the extreme. Spoilt our whole stay really. Internet was non existent. I went to reception to complain to the manager and was told they didn't have a manager so any complaint was not possible. If things go wrong for any reason don't expect any resolution. I dont know where i can start, so many but just as a brief info! I wear one of a new bought red tshirt, the other day they told me it stained the sheet so they will charge 200 bahts. I wanted to check the sheet because it makes no sense for me which I couldnt recognize a dramatic stain or smth like that. In consequence, I dont recommend to anyone for staying here which lots of cons...
