Last week I was in Meir Jarr and here are my comments.
First the hotel is clean and organized.Rooms are clean and the room service is really good.
Second the staff were friendly :) I didn't have problem understanding them(english) like most of the people say.
Plus the location of the hotel is really good. The parallel street is the Patong beach so it's like 5 mins walking.

The hotel location is absolutely perfect, the the design is modern and good as well as clean and tidy.
The front desk staff especially the lady and the guy who was their when i checked in was very great and friendly as well as can understand me well when i spoke to them in english. The lady who check in was very accommodating and indeed appreciate much for upgrading me. Thier swimming pool view along with the bar is perfect,,,kinda romantic and clean too.
Over all, recommendable.
The room was clean. I stayed in a standard room. The room size is enough for one person, it would be less covinient to live there if you are not alone. I liked the bed, it was spacious and comfortable. The air-conditioner worked good. There were fresh towels every day.
The water in the pool was salted and people didn't use it. I think it was because they prefered the sea. However I used the pool twicely, it really helped me in the rainy evenings.
Your friendly staff and service was excellent could not do enough to please a guest.Your location was fantastic and your attention to cleaning and i loved your pool it had a good atmosphere for relaxing and eating I will be only staying at the Meir Jarr on future visits to Patong I also liked your choice of music you played while around the Meir Jarr and if possible would like you to let me know what you played so i can obtain this music myself.
The hotel was new so it was very clean and had nice decor. Excellent
location. No more than a 10 min walk away from the beach, and walking
distance to bangla road where all the bars are, but far away enough
from disturbance and noise. Pool area and view is lovely and bar food
is good. Was meant to stay one night but ended up staying 6 as we
enjoyed it here.
the best part about this hotel is : the roof top pool. the viw from there is just amazing. for me that was way better dan siting at the beach. and the servise is also nice. good and friendly staff. Plus, the most important thing is that it is value for money. i liked it.
Really nice modern and comfortable rooms,clean,friendly staff. The rooftop pool is amazing with a great view of the beach,mountains and city! 5mins from jungceylon shopping mall,beach,bangla road..We loved this hotel and would definitely stay there again..
All the staff were excellent, very attentive and always helpful! The rooftop pool has stunning views and a great place to chill out. The location is just right not too far from the nightlife and just right from all the noise hussle and bussle of Patong.
Meir Jarr is on a very convenient location. It is closeby the beach, shopping, restaurants. Special thanks to Zaw and Tong working at the pool bar. These guys are very attentive and professional and make sure the guests will enjoy at the pool.
Pool is great. Nice breakfast and Clean room. Staff are friendly and
helpful however they can talk English hardly but understand you. Their
restaurant dishes are mostly delicious in comparison with the same level
restaurants.

The pool on the top was great, the view is amazing. The breakfast had a good choice. We also liked that the hotel was a bit off the main noise from the streets but it was close enough at the same time.
pool was amazing so quiet and relaxing staff were fantastic throughout the hotel and the food and drink is excellent and very cheap too ive stayed in a lot of 5 star and mier jarr is as good.
Close proximity to town. Just a 10 minute walk. Great value for money. Room size is good & very clean and cozy. Bangla road is 15 minute walk. Rooftop pool is a good addition to relax.
Room decorated in thai style, very modern, and have a very high standard of cleaniness. About 5 min walk to patong beach. Easy access to eating places and all within walking distance.
The pool was amazing and the rooms are very clean and new. Patong beach is only a short walk from the hotel and the Main Street is only about 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
The room is clean and bathroom is separated with toilet. And the roof swimming pool is amazing, all of us like it and can enjoy the sunset on roof bar.
The swimming pool on the roof is excellent, it has a great view of patong beach. The staffs there are kindly and friendly, it quite worth the money.

I actually liked everything in this hotel and will definitely go again there.
At night it's noisy because of the hard rock cafe that is located next to the hotel, so some people want to relax and find it noisy but for us it was fine.
I didn't like at all that staff speaks rather poor English. It was really unconfortable to communicate with them. Sometimes i was really nervoys trying to excplain them anything. They do not have taxi service.
Hard rock cafe nearby could get a little noisy from the poor karioke
style entertainment but it's only loud til around 11pm and
wasn't really an issue for us. Some staff spoke little english but
were generally pleasant. Still some building work going on but
didn't really cause us an issue.
the thing i didnt like was that, there was no kitchen / cook in this hotel. So we had to go out to eat, whenever we feel hungry.
The employees at the front-office were in our opinion not so friendly and attentive as Zaw and Tong, there was a lack of interest.
Unfortunately a little bit noise on the day of arrival around 2:30pm
when we were sleep, But they considered my complaint.
Most of the staff cant speak/understand english. We travel vid our 10 month old baby, had o room on side to hard rock cafe. They play music you absolute hear but no problem for us.

A problem was that they were renovating (I guess) the room exactly next to ours so they were making a lot of noise the whole day, drilling almost literally in our heads. When we complained around 19:00h however they immediately stopped.

Staff English is poor and hotel restaurant is closing at 11 which is nonsense.
He breakfast wasn't good we ate in the restaurant once we waited a very long time to be served the food was just ok. Reception staff could be more helpful.

The taxi transfer. There are none.

No balcony to dry towels in my room the reception staff wouldnt help me
book a taxi to the airport on my last day and directed me to a taxi rank
instead, I booked the taxi from there and it didnt turn up so panic to
get another at last minute!! Charged for overnight guest, I paid for the
room so should be able to entertain whoever I like at no extra cost!.
